Chelsea 1-3 Liverpool
Jose Mourinho gave some rather curious post-match interviews following the Liverpool defeat but did say he believes he will be given time to turn around Chelsea's fortunes.
"The fans aren't stupid. They know how much myself and the players are trying," he said.
But then - having been photographed in discussion with his coaches on the pitch after the match - he added: "The fight goes on, but sometimes there are fights very impossible to win.
"You go to a fight with different ammunition."
Not quite Eric Cantona sardines and trawlers standard but not far off. Who knows what Jose in on about, though maybe we'll discover more as the week goes on...
Chelsea 1-3 Liverpool
So, as you can see, Monday's papers make pretty grim reading for everyone at Chelsea, especially the manager.
Many have picked up on comments made by the BBC presenter Garry Richardson on his Sportsweek programme.
Richardson said a senior Chelsea player had told him he would "rather lose than win" for Jose Mourinho.
All of which is not what you want when you are 15th in the table, having lost at home to Liverpool - a sixth Premier League defeat 11 games into the season.

Another weekend, another defeat for Jose Mourinho.
And not pleasant reading for the Chelsea boss in Monday's papers either, something we'll come to in a moment.
Aston Villa are set to appoint Remi Garde, England's cricketers are in action, and Nico Rosberg is celebrating a first grand prix victory in four months.
