    Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth are five shots off Branden Grace's lead after day one of the WGC-HSBC Champions.

    South African Grace's nine-under 63 gave him a one-shot lead over three players in Shanghai, while USA's Dustin Johnson and Patrick Reed and England's Danny Willett are two back.

    McIlroy played despite struggling this week with food poisoning.

    "It was probably a little better than I was expecting out there to be honest," the world number three said.

    The BBC's Overseas Sports Personality will this year be decided by a public vote for the first time. 

    An expert panel - including Olympic gold medallist and 1972 Sports Personality of the Year Dame Mary Peters, England Rugby World Cup winner Maggie Alphonsi, former Paralympian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson and ex-footballer Ian Wright - will draw up a shortlist of six contenders for the award. 

    That shortlist will be announced on the BBC Sport website on Friday, 27 November and you can vote online for free from Friday, 27 November, using a BBCiD.

    It was not a great night for Arsenal in the Champions League after they were thrashed 5-1 by Bayern Munich.

    The Gunners are bottom of Group F, six points behind leaders Bayern and second-placed Olympiakos.

    They now need to beat Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos in their final two games, and hope the Greek side lose at Bayern.

    "There is still a chance to qualify," said Wenger. "We have to realise that our chance is at a minimum."

    Manchester City were reported to Uefa after fans were heard booing the Champions League anthem in a group game against Sevilla last month. 

    In the return tie on Wednesday, City fans did the same ahead of the game as well as holding up 'Boo' banners.

    However, this time around Uefa say there was nothing in the report they received for the match and will not be investigating.

    West Ham manager Slaven Bilicdoes not seem too worried about the attacking threat of Everton, despite the Toffees beating Sunderland 6-2 on Sunday.

    "Everton won 6-2 last week and it was a weird game. Sunderland started well, then Everton scored two goals."

    "It went to 2-2 and Everton looked shaky, but when they scored the third and fourth, it could have been nine, 10.

    "They are full of confidence, but so are we because we are a team who are playing well and will be at home."
