Manchester United winger Memphis Depay must have concerns about his future, less than four months after his £31m arrival at Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old Dutch international was described by manager Louis van Gaal as "one of the greatest talents of his generation" when he joined in the summer.

But after scoring twice on his Champions League debut for the Reds, he has endured a tough start to life in England, failed to start United's last three games, and was initially left out of the Netherlands squad for his month's friendlies before being recalled by coach Danny Blind.

Van Gaal also says he wants to add more wide players with creativity and pace to his United squad in January.

He has opted to start with Jesse Lingard in the last two matches, and after his first goal for the Reds against West Brom, the 22-year-old will be confident of keeping his place after the international break.

Remember that Australia-New Zealand Test game we mentioned earlier?

Well, there is a spot of controversy to report with Mitchell Starc received a rebuke from his captain and a fine from the International Cricket Council for being too aggressive.

"It was pretty disappointing,'' Aussie captain Steve Smith said. "He's done it a few times and I'm going to have a word to him. I don't think it was necessary."
