It might be worth a little reminder that a little under 14 months ago, one Chelsea fan phoned in to 5 live Sport's Football Social to claim that Chelsea had 'outgrown the Premier League'.
This November, he came back and stood by his original comments.
Wonder what he's thinking now...

Remember when we told you that the hooded figure leaving Stamford Bridge last night might not have been Jose Mourinho?
Well, the Telegraph think they've worked out who it is, external - Chelsea's player liaison officer, Kevin Campello, apparently.

Real Madrid have no immediate plan to bring back Jose Mourinho, according to president Florentino Perez.
Mourinho, 52, won La Liga and the Copa del Rey during his time at the Bernabeu from 2010 to 2013, but on Thursday was sacked as manager of Chelsea.
Real manager Rafael Benitez is under pressure in a disappointing season that includes a 4-0 home loss to Barcelona.
Perez said: "No-one can know the future, but right now he will not come to Madrid."

A little more from Jeremy Vine's letter to Jose Mourinho...
"You didn't just demote her and cause her to leave, you humiliated her. You should not have done it and I believe the players were also at a loss as they tried to explain it to their young daughters.
"She was popular; they sided with her against you; you lost the dressing room. You caused the doctor to leave and the players sacked you.
"Do you understand that, Jose? You were fired by your own players. When you realise that is what has happened, I believe you will find the thought unbearable."

Jeremy Vine (yes, that one from Radio Two) has written an open letter to Jose Mourinho after his sacking.
He begins describing how much joy Mourinho has given him, but goes on to say "And then something utterly unhinged happened. I had to explain to my young daughter why you had exploded at the popular team doctor (one of the most prominent women in the Premier League) and I could not give her a decent reason.

Steve Pretty: Roman, when Mrs. Abramovich told you to go out and get a Guus for Christmas, this is not what she had in mind!
Larry Moyo: Chelsea have just endorsed player power, same problem that has left Real Madrid without titles of late
More from Guus Hiddink: "I want as much information as possible.
"Chelsea are in a bad situation and there are reasons for that.
"Whether or not I'm visiting their next match depends on my first conversation. Then I'll decide if I should stay in London longer."
Guus Hiddink has confirmed he is in talks with Chelsea, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
As we reported first earlier today, the Dutchman is in London for discussions over an interim role at Stamford Bridge.
"I want to get some good insight before I make my decision," said Hiddink.
Stand-by for a Guus Hiddink update, this time straight from the man himself...

Watford head coach Quique Flores is looking forward to the Premier League visit of Liverpool on Sunday. And he’s thinking more about the Liverpool team rather than their coach Jurgen Klopp.
“He’s very ambitious, he’s very energetic. But I focus on Liverpool as a team. I’m not thinking too much about the coach – I’m thinking about the players," said the Spaniard.
"I’m happy because these kind of matches against historic teams are always a little bit different. We have to think about the difficulties to play against these type of players because they have energy, they make good pressure, they play well, they play fast, they have a lot of variants.”

Watford will have a familiar look on Sunday for the visit of Liverpool with no fresh injuries at Vicarage Road and the Hornets on a three match unbeaten run.
Manager Quique Flores is challenging his players to continue their excellent form which sees them 7th in the Premier League: “We haven’t changed anything. We have the same targets.
"I’m happy with their performances and the ambition is to aim high. We have to be ambitious and it’s important that we keep the confidence.
"But before a match I don’t say to the players we can get into Europe. I don’t talk like that.”
Man Utd v Norwich (Sat, 15:00 GMT)
Manchester United are on a run of five games without a win in all competitions. They face Norwich at Old Trafford.
"Every game has its own pressure," said boss Louis van Gaal. "Every week you have to do it in different circumstances. Three or four players are coming back.
"Wayne Rooney and Ander Herrera have trained the full week. We have other players who have trained just one day so there is too much risk. In these circumstance, you have to take a risk. only the preparation is the same.
"We always prepare very good about the quality of the opponents and our gameplan. They are doing their utmost best. We have to give the results everyone is expecting."
Man Utd v Norwich (Sat, 15:00 GMT)
Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has been linked with the Manchester United job, one that Louis van Gaal currently occupies.
"I have the full confidence of the my board and players," said the Dutchman. "We have to get results. We have to win, we know that. There is no doubt about it.
"When you lose too much, then it will be the end of the world for me too."

One of your rivals has been given the chop from his position, so what does Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal feel about the decision...
"I am surprised Jose Mourinho got sacked, he is a fantastic manager," said the Dutchman. "We know and Jose kowns no-one is safe, it is the footballing world.
"I have seen articles [that things are not right with the players] so this world is a little bit crazy. "

Guus Hiddink resigned as Turkey coach after failing to get them to Euro 2012 then had a short spell in charge of Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala before sustaining arguably the biggest scar on his reputation when he succeeded Louis van Gaal after the 2014 World Cup for a second stint as Netherlands coach.
He lasted only 10 months and left the job with the Dutch qualification campaign for Euro 2016 doomed, losing five of his ten games in charge.
The facts suggest Hiddink's best days are behind him - but Abramovich will hope the return to Chelsea will buck that disturbing trend since he was last in charge at Stamford Bridge.

Guus Hiddink is in a London hotel putting the finishing touches to his return to Chelsea - but is Roman Abramovich actually turning to a manager who is out of his time?
Hiddink will be trading on memories of his successful temporary spell in charge in 2009, when he took over from sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari and won the FA Cup against Everton at Wembley.
The 69-year-old's reputation has been dented since then with an undistinguished spell in charge of Russia, where he was sacked for failing to get them to the World Cup in South Africa in 2010.
