BBC Sport
Manuel Pellegrini has given an update on Vincent Kompany's fitness and confirmed Joe Hart will not be in goal for the League Cup game at Everton tomorrow. City trail 2-1 after the first leg.
"I think Vincent Kompany will return in a couple of weeks," says Pellegrini.
"We are doing all we can, sending him to different places and doctors to try and make sure it doesn't happen because it is very sad for him not to play.
"Willy Caballero will probably start the next two games. One of the important reasons why Joe Hart improves a lot is because he has competition. Willy deserves to play these games."
