    I wish we had kept...

Damien Lincoln: Holloway at Blackpool. Led us to the Premier League, the only person in the world that can work with the Oystons and get results. He fitted perfectly with the club. He saw past the wage cap, pathetic transfer budgets, washing own kits, training facilities of a Sunday League team and just got on with it and got results. Got incredible performances from average players. Legend.

Darren Dudley Holland: Martin O'Neill at Aston Villa. I thought he was a breath of fresh air and most importantly got the best out of the players he had.

Barca take pity on Nevillepublished at 12:22 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2016

    Football

Leading 7-0 from the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final, Barcelona have decided to take pity on Valencia boss Gary Neville.

Barca have rested Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets and Gerard Pique, while Lionel Messi has undergone treatment on kidney stones, for the second leg.

Neville is fighting for his job after suffering what Valencia sporting director Jesus Garcia Pitarch described as one of the worst results in the club's history in the first-leg.

"I've got full belief in myself and full belief in the players," said Neville.

Ticket price rises will mean 'tourist fans'published at 12:01

Stadiums will be filled with "tourists" waving "half and half scarves and taking selfies" if ticket prices rise further, warned Football Supporters' Federation chairman Malcolm Clarke.

The FSF is meeting fans' groups to discuss further action, including a potential mass walkout across a weekend of Premier League fixtures.

Clarke said his organisation wants to make sure top-flight clubs "really do deliver some sort of a package" to help bring down the price of tickets.

Angela Jariwala: Jose Mourinho. He was committed to Chelsea, extremely passionate and was trying to develop our team long-term. Huge loss.

Ira Alif Syabil: Liverpool should have kept Benitez. Won a European Cup & FA Cup. I reckon he would have won us the Premier League if he stayed.

North to end try drought - Williamspublished at 11:27 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2016

George North has had better seasons. Much better seasons, in fact. But Wales' record try-scorer Shane Williams has backed the winger to overcome his try-scoring struggles.

North has crossed just three times for Northampton Saints this season and said the English Premiership club's style of play is not helping his game.

The 23-year-old has not scored for Wales since September's World Cup warm-up win over Italy, a run of five Tests, but Williams says the tries will come.

"He has not become a poor player. I have been there myself and we probably have not seen the best of George yet anyway," said the former Ospreys man.

    A recipe for disaster...published at 10:50 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2016

    Ed SlaterImage source, Getty Images

Bagels must always be approached with caution. A frozen one? Stand back. Stand way, way back. If only Leicester forward Ed Slater knew the rules.

A frozen bagel, a sharp knife and a hungry rugby player ended in a predictable conclusion, as Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill explains...

"The moral of the story is don't get a really sharp knife and try to cut a frozen bagel," he told BBC Radio Leicester. "The knife slips, slashes your hand and you have 14 stitches and can't play.

"He is a bit disappointed with himself and he won't be making breakfast any more."

The most dangerous meal of the day?

A frozen bagel, a sharp knife and a hungry rugby player. It's a dangerous combination. Just ask Leicester forward Ed Slater.
