    Saturday's game against Hull City will be Arsene Wenger's 100th FA Cup game in charge of the Gunners - and they have won it six times under his guidance.

    And the competition is special to the Frenchman whose side are bidding for a third title in a row. 

    "The first game I saw on TV was a FA Cup game in France," he says. "I never imagined I would play 100 games.

    "The FA Cup is a good chance to see players who don't get to play regularly but we will need a top-level performance."

    This is the third consecutive season in which Hull and Arsenal meet in the FA Cup, but Steve Bruce is phlegmatic about the prospect.  "We could've picked an easier one, couldn't we?" he say.

    The manager also confirmed that there will be significant changes to his side as they prioritise their attempts to escape the Championship. "We've got big, big games coming up," said Bruce, who confirmed that 16-year-old Josh Tymon will be part of the squad for the trip to The Emirates.

    West Brom defender Craig Dawson signed an improved one-year contract extension at the Hawthorns on Thursday and Pulis is happy that the 25-year-old is remaining at the club.

    "I'm pleased for Craig, he's done smashing for us, he's a young player who's improved as season has gone on. I'm delighted," he says.

    "There's four or five other players out of contract so we'll see how negotiations go but that's for the people behind the scenes."

    West Brom needed penalties to beat Peterborough in the last round and book their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

    Tony Pulis's side face Reading on Saturday and the manager says 4,000 fans will be making the journey to the Madejski Stadium

    "The most important thing for me is to try and get Albion into the quarter-finals for the second successive year," he says. "It would be the first time in the club's history.

    "I'll pick a strong team, a team to win the game. The FA Cup is important for me."

    Howe, who supported Everton as a youngster, has guided the Cherries to their first fifth round appearance since 1989.

    But he has sounded a note of caution about the possible changes to the format of the FA Cup which the Football Association are believed to be proposing.

    "I think the landscape of the tournament has changed. I think something might need to be done to reignite the cup," he says.  

    "Hopefully if there are any changes they're done with the right things in mind for the competition."

    Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is up early this chilly Friday but is not giving too much away in terms of his starting 11 to face Everton in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday evening.

    "I'll leave the team selection as a surprise! I won't tell you, but there will be some changes," he says.

    "We'd love to progress, the carrot is there. We've only ever reached the quarter-finals once.

    "I expect an open game on Saturday. Both teams want to win and we all remember the last time they came here." 

    On that occasion, Junior Stanislas scored a 98th-minute equaliser as Bournemouth twice came from behind to earn a point in a 3-3 draw.

    Spurs will take an away goal into the second leg of their last-32 tie with Fiorentina after a 1-1 draw in Italy.

    Mauricio Pochettino's side took the lead in the first half when Nacer Chadli scored a penalty after Ben Davies was fouled inside the area.

    However, Federico Bernardeschi equalised when his deflected strike looped into the net.

    Liverpool became the first team to keep a clean sheet against German side Augsburg in the Europa League this season after a goalless draw.

    It gives the Reds a good chance of making the last 16 with the second leg to come at Anfield next Tuesday.

    Daniel Sturridge had a deflected shot saved and fluffed an effort from six yards out from James Milner's cross but the Merseysiders were given a scare when former Sunderland player Ji Dong-won hit a post late on.
