All day we have been asking for your first sporting memory.

As part of BBC News School Report Day we have been joined by Adam from the Lowton C of E High School in Wigan.

He is one of 30,000 pupils taking part in this year's BBC News School Report. It is a project that encourages 11-16 year olds across the UK to make their own news. Take it away, Adam...

"My first sporting memory is when my dad and my mum took me to Anfield to watch Liverpool play against Wolves.

"The score was 1-0 to Wolves so lots of Liverpool fans were very angry. It was probably fuelled by the fact it was 9pm so many fans would have probably been grumpy and tired.

"Not the best first game to go to!"

    Thanks Adam.
