    World and Olympic champion Usain Bolt will run the 100m at the Golden Spike in the Czech city of Ostrava on 20 May.

    It will be the Jamaican's second start of the Olympic season after a race in the Cayman Islands on 14 May.

    Bolt is also scheduled to race in the London Diamond League meet on 22 July, two weeks before the Olympics in Rio.

    Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany insists he and his team-mates are ready for the challenge of facing the 10-time European champions Real Madrid.

    "There's not a day in my life where I'm thinking these occasions are stressful or difficult," said the 30-year-old Belgium international.

    "I want this for myself - and at this level all players want this for themselves. You have to play against those players as many times as we can and try and beat those teams.

    "That's what's going to make history for this club.

    "For every single player in the team, if you're not hungry, then you'll never be hungry in football."

    Kevin Keen has quit as Colchester United manager following their relegation from League One.

    He had only been appointed in December in succession to Tony Humes.

    A statement on the club's website said:, external "After a meeting with the owner, Robbie Cowling, over the future direction of the club, Kevin Keen has decided to leave Colchester United with immediate effect.

    "Kevin has worked tirelessly to try and turn around the fortunes of the club this season. We wish Kevin all the best in his future career.

    "David Wright has agreed to take the team for the remaining two games of the current season."

    Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure will miss Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg against Real Madrid because of a thigh injury.

    Toure, 32, was hurt late in Saturday's 4-0 win over Stoke but stayed on as City had used their three substitutes.

    But captain Vincent Kompany, who has only played 20 times this season for the club, says he is "100% fit" after recovering from repeated calf injuries.

    Real hope Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo can play after injuries.

    Ronaldo missed Saturday's 3-2 win over Rayo Vallecano with a thigh injury, and fellow forward Benzema limped off in the first half of the game.

    The Football Association has released a statement, external after an inquest found the 96 Liverpool fans who died at Hillsborough were unlawfully killed.

    It "reaffirms" the FA's "deep sorrow" at the tragedy at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final and and pays tribute to the families of the victims who "have conducted themselves with great dignity throughout these inquests".

    The statement adds: "While much has changed since 1989, the FA and English football in general must continue to recognise, remember and learn from the tragedy. In looking forward, it is important we never forget.

    "Given the ongoing criminal investigations, there are limitations to what we can say. It is in the interests of all concerned that further consideration of the disaster by the relevant authorities must be allowed to take its course."

    Former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar has recalled his experience of the Hillsborough disaster on 15 April 1989, in which 96 Liverpool fans lost their lives.

    An inquest has found the supporters were unlawfully killed.

    Grobbelaar was the closest player to the Leppings Lane end when the tragedy took place.

    "It wasn’t like a surge that you had seen before – you could hear creaks because of the metal barriers being bent," he told 5 live Sport's Kelly Cates.

    Following Jess Varnish's allegations of sexism against British Cycling after she was dropped from the GB team, UK Sport has told BBC Sport's Sonia McLaughlan: "We take allegations of sexism very seriously and have been in contact with British Cycling to ensure this is investigated.

    "As a recipient of funding, British Cycling should assure us this will be dealt with fairly, swiftly and transparently."

    Former Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov says he wants to return to professional football with relegated Aston Villa.

    The 36-year-old retired in 2013 because of the effects of treatment for acute leukaemia, but is now training again.

    Petrov, who joined Villa from Celtic in 2006, made 218 appearances for the club in all competitions and earned 92 caps for Bulgaria.  

    While promoting his charity golf day on 8 May, he told the Birmingham Mail:, external "I am very excited. People will be asking a lot of questions, and will have a lot of doubts.

    "My fitness is getting close to when I retired, so let's see where we go. Aston Villa remains my priority."

    Kyren Wilson has staged a mini-fightback at the World Snooker Championships in Sheffield by winning the final two frames of the first session to cut his deficit to Mark Selby to 6-2.

    Ding Junhui leads Mark Williams by the same scoreline as the quarter-finals got under way on Tuesday.

    Alan McManus faces John Higgins and Marco Fu takes on Ronnie O'Sullivan's conqueror Barry Hawkins in the other last-eight ties, which begin at 14:30 BST.

    A reminder of the big news of the day as an inquest jury finds the 96 Liverpool fans who died at the 1989 Hillsborough FA Cup semi-final were unlawfully killed.

    The jury found match commander Ch Supt David Duckenfield was "responsible for manslaughter by gross negligence" due to a breach of his duty of care.  

    When considering how each of the 96 victims died, the jury concluded many died well after 15:15 on the day of the match.

    Britain's David Price believes he should be reinstated into the IBF's top 15 fighters after his last opponent Erkan Teper was banned for doping.

    Price was knocked out in the second round by Teper last July, but the German then failed a post-fight drugs test and was banned for two years.

    Teper is still ranked third by the IBF, while Price, who was ranked fifth last June, is no longer in the top 15.

    "I have been cheated and I deserve something back," said Price, 32.
