There has been harrowing evidence from the father of murdered South African model Reeva Steenkamp as he gave testimony in court for the first time since she was shot dead by athlete, Oscar Pistorius.

Barry Steenkamp struggled to speak through tears as he described the impact of the killing three years ago.

Southampton have made a statement following the confirmation that Ronald Koeman has joined Everton.

Dr Joel Rookwood, senior lecturer in football business at Southampton Solent: 

“For these very violent hooligans it is a sport, they are trained physically and have been seen wearing MMA gloves and gumshields.

“They are very well prepared and probably well-funded. They seem to have quite wide resources available to them. They’re very well organised and ruthlessly effective.

“They don’t seem to fear the police.

“The Russians will certainly prioritise fighting the English  rather than watching their own team play, because the battle is more significantly won off the pitch.”
