    Meanwhile Eoin Morgan will return as captain of England's limited overs side in India next year despite missing the ongoing tour of Bangladesh because of security concerns.

    "He will definitely be captain in India," assistant coach Paul Farbrace said. "There can't be any way around it. He deserves it."

    England's preparations for the forthcoming Test series against Bangladesh were disrupted when the first day's play of a two-day warm-up fixture against a Bangladesh XI was cancelled due to wet outfield.  

    The team hope to play a 45-over match on Saturday, weather permitting, with England scheduled to play another two-day warm-up match against a BCB XI on 16-17 October. 

    The opening Test begins in Chittagong on 20 October, with the second match in Mirpur starting on 28 October.

    On-loan Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has yet to complete a full match for Bournemouth but Eddie Howe sees the bigger picture and says: "The 90 minutes with Jack will come, but it's not high on my agenda to talk about. The team is the most important."

    Cherries boss Eddie Howe with an injury update following the international break. "We were left with 13-14 players and had a good week with the lads training well. One or two came back with knocks, I won't name them."

    Bournemouth have won two of their first three home league games and Howe adds: "Our home form has been good. As a footballer you should look forward to playing at home in front of your own supporters."

    "Mike has done a great job," Howe says. "A lot has been made of their summer but it's probably helped them create a siege mentality."

    Koeman accused O’Neill and his staff of "killing the player" after McCarthy returned from nearly two full games in the international break despite only recently returning from an operation.
