There's been a sacking in La Liga and it seems a harsh one.

Enrique Martin spent his whole playing career with Osasuna, barring a couple of loan spells. He coached the first team and the B team before being made manager in 2014-15 - during the club's relegation battle against dropping into the third tier.

He kept them up, then got them promoted last season. After one win in their opening 11 games this season, the 60-year-old has been given the boot however.

I feel sorry for dropped Ballance - Cookpublished at 09:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 November 2016

Haseeb Hameed's debut comes at a cost for batsman Gary Ballance who has been dropped following a poor tour of Bangladesh.

Ben Duckett will move from the top of the order to number four in place of Yorkshire's Ballance with Hameed opening the batting.

Ballance scored just 24 runs in four innings in Bangladesh.

"I feel sorry for Gary," said Cook. "They were tough conditions in Bangladesh and ultimately it's about how many runs you score.
