Today's Manchester United training session is likely to offer the wider media a chance to get their first glimpse of Bastian Schweinsteiger this season.

The German returned to first-team training with United at the start of the month after previously being given the cold shoulder by manager Jose Mourinho.

There have been plenty of social media pictures from the club's own channels. But with the first 15 minutes of training open to the press this morning ahead of Thursday's Europa League tie with Feyenoord, it is a chance for the media to see Schweinsteiger for themselves.

Not that he can play. He was not picked in United's European squad by Mourinho and he still looks likely to be leaving the club in January's transfer window.

Didier Drogba will leave Montreal Impact at the end of the MLS season.

The 38-year-old told reporters he had played his last home game for the club following their 3-2 win against Toronto FC in the first leg of the Eastern Conference finals.

Asked about his future after Tuesday's win, he said: "There's still one or maybe two games to go. Next week's game is more important than if it's finished or not.

"Everyone knows it was my last game here. Now let's focus on the semi-final."

Barriers exist for black, Asian and minority ethnic people entering sports administration, says former Olympic and world 400m champion Christine Ohuruogu.

Sporting Equals, external audit found 26 of 601 board members - just over 4% - are from BAME backgrounds. Only two of 68 chairpersons or chief executives are BAME.

"Talking to other athletes and sportspeople, they are expressing concern that it is a world not open for them," said Briton Ohuruogu, 32.

"They won't be welcomed, won't be valued and it is very negative. They have gone as far as they can as athletes but they don't feel there is any more room for them to go."

Beverley Knight is one of Britain's greatest ever soul singers, but would she have had the confidence to become so if not for former Olympic heptathlon champion Denise Lewis?

    She's not so sure.

“As a teenager, I watched Denise fight her way to be the very best in athletics, culminating in winning gold at the Olympics," she said.

"And she was my hometown of Wolverhampton! I thought to myself: ‘If she can do it, so can I in the field of music’.”

South Africa captain Faf du Plessis says he has been made a "scapegoat" and denied any wrongdoing after being found guilty of ball-tampering.

Footage appeared to show the 32-year-old licking his finger and shining the ball while eating a sweet in the second Test against Australia in Hobart. He was fined 100% of his match fee by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

"I felt like I've done nothing wrong," he said. "It's not like I was trying to cheat or anything. I was shining the ball. It's something that all cricketers do.

"Our mouths are always full of sugar. It's such a grey area in the laws of cricket. I just ask that everyone gets treated the same way. I think that's fair.

"Obviously the ICC has taken a stance against me, to use me probably as a scapegoat now, but all you can ask for is that everyone gets treated the same."

'Lots of learning came from that'published at 09:11 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Celtic v Barcelona (19:45 GMT)

    Brendan RodgersImage source, Getty Images

Losing 7-0 is never an ideal start to any competition, but that's exactly what happened to Celtic when they traveled to Barcelona for their Champions League opener back in September.

However, manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping his side can learn from that experience, as they look to finish third in Group C.

"Lots of learning came from that, lots of development both in terms of our team mentality and our game, came from that performance," he said.

"At the time of course, I said it was very disappointing but it hasn't harmed us, if anything, it has only improved us a group and as a squad. We have to fight and ensure we do everything we can to try to stop them, but it's not easy."

Yaya Toure, who scored twice against Palace on his return to the side, is not in City's Champions League squad.

The Blues are second in Group C, three points ahead of their opponents.

PSG full-back to miss match over visa issuespublished at 08:58 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

Arsenal v Paris St Germain (19:45 GMT)

    Serge AurierImage source, Getty Images

Paris St-Germain full-back Serge Aurier was stopped from entering the United Kingdom and will miss Wednesday's Champions League match against Arsenal.

The Ivorian, 23, was given a two-month suspended prison sentence in September for assaulting a police officer.

PSG say the UK authorities granted Aurier a visa in October but revoked it on 16 November, citing his conviction.

Uefa expressed "deep disappointment" in the ruling, while PSG said the timing showed "a lack of respect".

The French champions accused the Home Office of a "tardy response" and claimed the decision was not made until Tuesday afternoon.

France forward Olivier Giroud could start after his equaliser as a substitute at Manchester United on Saturday.

Leicester fans have plenty to be excited about. The reason? Claudio Ranieri says his team are off on another adventure - and he doesn't know where it'll finish.

"We're on another journey. I don't know where, but we're excited," he said.

"It's unbelievable. Top of the group - how? I am very happy and very proud. I'm happy for the players, the chairman, the fans, everyone.

"Now the group is won, it is important to come back in the Premier League. We are very close to relegation so we have to play at same level as in the Champions League. When we want to play for something, we achieve something."

Leicester City's remarkable debut Champions League campaign continued as they reached the knockout stages with one game to spare by beating Club Brugge.

The Premier League champions have been unrecognisable from the team that have struggled in the defence of their domestic title - they currently sit 14th in the league.

Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez scored in a 2-1 victory as they ensured they would top group G.

"For a club like Leicester to finish top of our Champions League group is an amazing achievement. It's been better than we could have imagined," said club captain Wes Morgan.

    Mauricio PochettinoImage source, Getty Images

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino may be disappointed his side won't be taking part in the knockout stage of this year's Champions League, but that didn't stop him from saying his side haven't "showed enough quality" to deserve to progress.

"We are out and we have time to assess and analyse. It is true we feel disappointed but today we missed opportunities," he said.

"I think we made too many mistakes at home at Wembley. We don't deserve to go through to the next round because we didn't show enough quality.

"We will take many things from this defeat, you learn and improve every day. Now we are trying to reduce the gap on the teams above us in the Premier League."

So, Tottenham are out of the Champions League after they were beaten 2-1 by Monaco in France.

Djibril Sidibe's and Thomas Lemar scored for the hosts, either side of a Harry Kane penalty, leaving Spurs in a battle with CSKA Moscow for third place in the group and entry to the Europa League.

Tottenham have only won one of their five group matches, and are three points behind Leverkusen with one game to play, against CSKA on 7 December, but cannot overhaul the German side because of an inferior head-to-head record.
