Jurgen Klopp is again expected to ring the changes for tomorrow night’s FA Cup replay at Plymouth.

He’s just come out of a big game at Manchester United on Sunday and there’s another Premier League game to come on Saturday against Swansea – so that’s understandable.

That said, Klopp has done this before and found a way to progress. He’s so far avoided the shock of a giantkilling despite a number of cup ties against teams from lower divisions. That tells me that whatever team he puts out, the mentality will be spot on.

It’ll have to be at Plymouth because they’ll have the confidence of having drawn at Anfield and being up near the top of League Two. It’ll be a big atmosphere and it could be a really tricky tie, but even with changes to personnel, Liverpool can be a stubborn lot in the cups!

So why has Sam Warburton lost his position as Wales captain for the Six Nations?

Interim coach Rob Howley says they want the 28-year-old to "concentrate on his game".

"Sam has led Wales more times than any other captain and had great success in the role," he adds.

"We had conversations during and since the autumn with Sam, no player is guaranteed their place in an international team and we want Sam to be playing his very best rugby and he agrees this is the best way forward."

Ball confident England can deal with Kohlipublished at 11:59 Greenwich Mean Time 17 January 2017

    Cricket

England bowler Jake Ball is hoping that the tourists can cope better with India's Virat Kohli in Thursday's second ODI in Cuttack after his innings of 122 helped the home side to victory in Sunday's opening game of the series.

"He’s an unbelievable player," Ball told BBC Radio 5 live. "We saw a lot of him in the Tests and he started the ODI series really well.

"We’ve got plans for him and hopefully we can put them into practice in a couple of days time.

"I think under the lights where it may skid on a bit more – you can use the shorter ball a little bit more, but I think it’s just trying to mix it up as much as you can, try not to let him get settled and hope he hits one up in the air."
