Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers says he was "sad" to see Mark Warburton and his staff leave Rangers.
Rodgers believes it will only be a matter of time before the Englishman returns to management and praised Warburton's work at Ibrox.
"It's disappointing when any manager loses their job, especially when they lose it in the way that he did," Rodgers said.
"Everybody was lauding the job he'd done here, in his first full season."
Jackson Page, the new star of snooker, has finally been beaten in the Welsh Open.
Judd Trump was the man who broke the heart of the 15-year-old who has been missing school this week to take part.
He isn't too bothered though. He takes home a nice cheque for £3,500 for reaching the third round of the tournament.
Johnny Magrinho: Judging by some of these ridiculous comments aimed at him I'm not surprised Clattenberg left. Fair play. Why stand for it?
Swansea City winger Nathan Dyer has had surgery on his ruptured Achilles after being ruled out for the rest of this season with the injury.
The 29-year-old came off after just seven minutes of the 2-0 win over Leicester City on Sunday.
Dyer, who won a Premier League winners medal while on loan with the Foxes last season, will now be assessed.
"Nathan is doing okay," performance director Richard Buchanan said, as Dyer works towards a first-team comeback.

Hampshire captain James Vince hopes the chance to pause and reflect on his game during the winter will show its benefits in the upcoming county season.
Vince, 25, hopes to reclaim a spot in the England Test side after losing his place at the end of last summer.
The right-hander, who also became a new father recently, feels a rest period before pre-season will help his cause.
"I've not had a chance to look and work on my game for a few years, I've just soldiered on," he told BBC Sport.
As long as you didn't have your eyes closed, we can forgive you...

Nii: Clattenburg - such a controversial person, from personal life to your career. Will never be missed. Bon voyage.
pretentiousmoi: Hopefully a few more of our 'world class' refs. will join Clattenberg. Overrated and likes the focus on him, not the football.
Simon Atkins: <sarcasm> Oh no! What a shame </sarcasm>
So many of you have been responding to the news Mark Clattenburg is leaving the Premier League.

What's gone on here then? Is Tom telling the truth, or has a fib been rumbled by Gritton? Or is Gritton just not owning up to his errant pass?
The most likely answer is that Tom will always remember getting sconed on the bonce by Martin Gritton, whereas Gritton sprayed so many passes that he's lost count of how many people he took out.
