'Can Leicester win the Champions League?'published at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2017

Leicester City v Sevilla (19:45 GMT)

Craig Shakespeare, who is now Leicester's manager until the end of the season, was asked if his side, who trail Sevilla 2-1 before tonight's second leg in the Champions League last 16, could win the whole competition?

"Why not? was Shakespeare's reply. "We are in it, we have to try to be competitive in every game.

"For me there is no free game in football, you have to try to win every game you go in to and show that determination and competitiveness and we need to show that in abundance tomorrow night.

"We know the importance of getting that goal. It is going to be a huge task but hopefully with the crowd - and we make a good atmosphere here - we can go through."

Leicester aim for last eight of Champions Leaguepublished at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2017

Leicester City v Sevilla (19:45 GMT)

Leicester are aiming to overturn a 2-1 deficit after the first leg when they play Sevilla in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie tonight.

French midfielder Nampalys Mendy will be missing for Leicester after he suffered a knee injury during training.

The second leg represents the Foxes' first home knockout game in Europe's premier club competition. They were outplayed in the first leg in Spain but were given hope thanks to Jamie Vardy's second-half goal.

There will be live commentary on BBC Radio 5 live.

It was all guns blazing. Limini and Ruby just got it wrong at the last briefly but I don't think it made a massive difference. For me, that was the race of the day.

Winning trainer Gordon Elliot: "This was our Gold Cup. This was always the plan. Brian gave her a peach of a ride. I can't believe it, today was our Gold Cup. Everything was right, ground, trip, everything."

    3. Limini (6-4 favourite)

A second win of the day for trainer Gordon Elliot. That's how you lay your Cheltenham marker down. A corking finish as they hit the last, all capable, all fighting and none of them went down without a battle. Apple's Jade just found that touch more.

Limini (pictured) is 13-8 favourite in a 17-strong field. It could provide a first win of the week for jockey Ruby Walsh.

"Limini ticks all the boxes for me," says BBC Radio 5 live Sports Extra pundit Andrew Thornton.

Twenty-time champion jockey Sir Anthony McCoy says he is "honoured and flattered" to have had a statue built in his honour at Cheltenham.

The bronze figure of the retired jockey, which was crafted by Dublin-based sculptor Paul Ferrier, was unveiled in front of racegoers in the Best Mate Plaza before racing on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old partnered 31 winners at the Festival, which included two victories in the Gold Cup and three Champion Hurdle successes.

Nicky Henderson reacts to being the most successful ever trainer in the Champion Hurdle: "All records are there to be broken. It's the horses and the people that make it. It's rather surreal really. There are names and records, we've broken a few. Of course it's special, it's just fun. When this thing happens it's even better fun.

"He'd won two novice changes and I just knew there was more there. I just know hes a very talentened horse. He's not very flashy at home. You just felt there was unfinished business.

"It was very open, you could have had any sort of winner. I was happy with the ground, it hasn't dried like people thought it was. I knew it was safe enough and I thought it would suit him."

What a performance. Noel Fehily cool as a cucumber, sat in the middle most of the race, but produced when it mattered.

Buveur D'Air has been transformed this year and it is great to see horses coming back - it is the icing on the cake today. With a mile to go, Noel was happy, travelling strongly and able to put the horse wherever he wanted.

He was full of confidence and knew it would take a very good horse to beat him in the home straight. A great performance from Nicky Henderson to have the first two in the Champion Hurdle.
