Super League could consider clubs moving to new cities in the interest of the sport, says general manager Mark Foster.

There is no precedent in rugby league although there have been mergers, such as Hull taking over Gateshead in 2000.

Wasps moved from London to Coventry in the union code, while in American football  St Louis Rams once again became LA Rams, external  after the 2016 season.

"I don't think we could say no to that," Foster told BBC 5 Radio 5 live.

Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn could join Wales' World Cup campaign against the Republic of Ireland next week - and end doubts over his international future.

Woodburn became the youngest scorer in Liverpool history - at the age of 17 years and 45 days - when he netted in the 2-0 EFL Cup victory over Leeds in November.

He is eligible to play for England but has been part of the Wales set up since he was 13. Wales assistant manager Osian Roberts said Woodburn is "knocking on the door".

This guy Jack Kennedy at 17 has achieved more by that age than AP McCoy had. He is only in his second season and he's gone and won a race at Cheltenham.

Kennedy tells 5 live: "It's brilliant, words can't describe it. Fair play to the owners for giving me the opportunity."

Labaik's owner Gordon Elliot tells BBC Radio 5 live he was scared the winner would not even start the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

"When he jumped off, that was like winning the race," he says.

  13. Melon for starters?published at 13:29 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2017

Melon (pictured) will be ridden by Ruby Walsh, a man who has won this race three years from the last four.

Walsh, at the age of 37, has 52 wins at the Festival. That's 52 wins. Remarkable.

Some bookmakers are telling BBC Radio 5 live they've taken a £400,000 bet on a horse called Altior in the second race of the day. We'll get to that later but I mention it as Altior won this first race last year.

    Supreme Novices' Hurdle

Countdown, countdown. We have less than 15 minutes until we race.

The Supreme Novices' Hurdle will get us underway at 13:30 GMT. A horse named Melon leads the betting at 11/4.

This is a Willie Mullins horse which won its only outing so far. Mullins has won this race three times in the last four years.

Ballyandy is second favourite, a horse with much more experience than Melon, while Mullins also saddles Bunk off Early, which will likely start third favourite at around 7-1.

Now, what's your tipple? The car park is rife with bubbles...

Jack Hirst: Sol Campbell. After months of saying he'll be signing a new contract at Tottenham, free transfer to Arsenal and becomes an Invincible.

MkhiMaestro: Carlos Tevez moving from Man United to City, I pretty much worshipped him when he was at United. After he moved, it broke my heart.
