    Crolla v Linares II

Last night I was lucky enough to sit in on Anthony Crolla's final big session before his rematch with Jorge Linares on 25 March.

In baking heat inside Gallagher's Gym to replicate the heat generated by show lights on fight night, Crolla went through his repertoire of stretching before a competitive spar and then some intense work on bags.

Dripping in sweat, he wanted to do more rounds in pursuit of perfection as he bids to avenge last years loss to the talented Venezuelan.

Crolla's week is built from technical sessions, swimming, strength and conditioning work, as well as hot yoga - allowing him to easily reach positions like the one pictured above. That heavy workload now eases down for 10 days, though he didn't give the impression he wanted a break.

The fight will be broadcast on 5 live on 25 March, we'll have a live text on this site and you'll get tonnes of build-up here next week.

Leading contender Cue Card has arrived at Cheltenham Racecourse ahead of the Gold Cup.

The 11-year-old, trained on the Dorset-Somerset border by Colin Tizzard, was a late faller when in contention last year.

Tizzard also saddles Native River in the big race at 15:30 GMT.

Following Roy Keane's words for Jose Mourinho - "talking rubbish... sick to death...garbage...utter nonsense" - we want to know what makes you angry in sport.

Billy Boy: Players waving imaginary cards to try and get opponents booked or sent off.

Neil Armstrong: Music played after goals should be banned, and should lead to immediate relegation for the team playing it.

FA Cup factfile: What gets me angry in sport? The term 'Premier League era' or any PL only stats. Football began before 1992.

A little less than two hours... although after all the pomp at the start of the proceedings it probably still is two hours away.

Plus the Europa League draw... of course. It means a lot to Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

But Jose, remember this four years ago...? No?

Bournemouth's opponents Swansea have moved from 20th spot in the Premier League in January to 16th under the stewardship of manager Paul Clement.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe says of Saturday's foes: "It wasn't so long ago we played Swansea. They've got the same individuals but are shaped differently. They're harder to beat.

"Paul has made a big impact to how they play. The players look more confident and galvanised."

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been speaking too - not his usual pre 9am news conference - must have fancied a lie-in.

He has queried the decision to omit on-loan midfielder Jack Wilshere from the England set-up.

"I only have the Bournemouth hat on, so I'm surprised Jack isn't in the England squad," he said.

"I still feel there's a lot more to come from Jack. He showed his quality coming off the bench last week when we needed it."

And here's the boss with some team news:

"[Midfielder] James Morrison has hurt his ankle this week so we aren't sure if he will be available for the game."

    And on facing Arsenal:

"We will need a bit of luck tomorrow. They're a top team.

"Alexis Sanchez is a great player and the Premier League is better with him in. I won't be saying that if he sticks two in, mind."

West Brom boss Tony Pulis has praised midfielder Jake Livermore for his first England call-up since 2012.

"The call-up is brilliant. I hope he can push on now. He's got all the tools to be a very good player.

"It's good for everyone. The lad, his family, the players and the club."

Roy Keane is angry. Againpublished at 09:14

It doesn't take much to make Roy Keane angry and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has well and truly managed it.

Keane says Mourinho is "talking rubbish" by complaining about the club's fixture schedule, and saying they will "probably lose" Sunday's game at Middlesbrough - a fourth match in 11 days.

Speaking on ITV, former United skipper Keane said: "Why do we have to listen to that garbage? What he is talking about is utter nonsense.

"He is manager of one of the biggest clubs on the planet. They've had an easy ride in the cups, with a lot of home draws.

"Maybe the club's too big for him. I'm sick to death of him. Manchester United reserves could have won that game."

And here's gaffer Mark Hughes on Saturday's opponents Chelsea, who we hear are doing well in England's top flight:

"We pushed Chelsea really hard last time we met and we were well in the game. We are going into tomorrow in good form.

"We know we can acquit ourselves well in these matches, and we showed that against Man City. If we do the same we will run them close."

Meanwhile, manager Mark Hughes says there is some sort of deal in place to make Dutch defender Bruno Martins Indi a permanent signing.

"There is already an agreement in place with Porto, so it is just a matter of ironing things out with Bruno, which we expect to do," he said.

"It isn't easy when you come to a new country and a new league, but he adapted quickly and embraced what we are about."

And on Middlesbrough's sacking of Aitor Karanka on Thursday:

"It is crazy really, because managers need time to build clubs. It's a shame for Aitor Karanka but that is the way football has gone."

It's a week short of a year since Stoke keeper Jack Butland fractured an ankle while playing for England against Germany. He hasn't played a first-team game since.

The good news is that he is "back with us now and progressing," according to Mark Hughes.

He added: "We are going to take it calmly and slowly with Jack but he is out on the grass now. We will edge him forward."

    Image caption,

    Laced with sarcasm?

    It wasn't all Rooney though.

Did you lot see read/see what Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott apparently said to England manager Gareth Southgate when he found out he hadn't made the latest squad?

"I've got to say [Walcott] wasn't chuffed to bits to get the call this morning and I understand that," said Southgate.

"Quite rightly, he said: 'I'm one of the leading goalscorers in the league.' I don't mind being challenged on that at all. I totally respect that. I don't expect him to be happy.

"But I've got to make decisions and I think it was the right thing to call him to talk that through, even though the timing probably wasn't great."

    Ouch!
