  1. So Arsene, have you signed a new deal?published at 09:46 British Summer Time 20 April 2017

Arsene Wenger also - obviously - spoke about the FA Cup semi at Wembley.

"What I expect when you go to the semi-final is go to the final," he said.

"It's a special experience at Wembley. You are focused and highly motivated. We are not at the maximum at our confidence. This is a good opportunity to show how much we are ready to fight and go to final. This is our only chance of a trophy."

He was also asked about... his contract, of course. Has he signed a new two-year deal, which is said to be on the table (not literally)?

"I haven't told my players anything - my commitment is total and I'm only focused on Arsenal," he added.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been speaking to the press before Sunday's FA Cup semi-final tie against Manchester City at Wembley.

But the news conference started with him reacting to the broken leg suffered by midfielder Jack Wilshere, who has been out on loan at Bournemouth.

"I've not spoken to Jack recently," he said. "They think it’s a simple fracture, but he doesn't need any surgery. He'll be back in July for normal training. It's a simple fracture of the fibula. The rehab will be made here.

"His loan spell ends at the end of the season. I felt sad when he was injured again. Jack is a great football player with a great football brain. His career has been stopped by many injuries. The game is of such an intensity it takes a while to get the confidence back. A great career doesn't stop and go - you have to be consistent. Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays 50 games a year, has luck.

"This injury has nothing to do with extension of Jack's contract. We havent entered negotiations with Jack. In all of these cases with one year to go - we'll discuss during the break."

England head coach Eddie Jones has named 15 uncapped players in a 31-man squad to tour Argentina.

Following his omission from the Lions, Dylan Hartley will captain a party which includes flanker Sam Underhill, wing Denny Solomona, and the Auckland Blues Northampton-bound fly-half Piers Francis.

There are also call-ups for the 18 year old Curry twins from Sale, Ben and Tom, as well as 19 year old Saracens forward Nick Isiekwe, Joe Cokanasiga of London Irish and Harry Mallinder of Northampton.

The Australian Glen Ella, who coached England on tour last summer, will again join Jones' backroom team.

After missing out on Lions selection, the likes of Joe Launchbury, James Haskell, Chris Robshaw, George Ford and Mike Brown all are named, but there is no place for Danny Cipriani, Christian Wade or Semesa Rokoduguni.
