Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo said his side need to be "faithful to who they are" if they are to overcome United across the two legs.

"My team has a strong identity and the players believe in it," said the former Argentina defender.

"The identity is about a lot of possession, a lot of pressure and a desire to win the ball back quickly when we lose it."

Manchester United play the 58th game of their season tonight when they take on Celta Vigo in the Europa League.

If all goes to plan for Jose Mourinho's side, they will end the campaign having completed 64 fixtures, which is a lot, but would be two fewer than 2008-09, when they had 66 games, including the European Super Cup and World Club Cup.

Sir Alex Ferguson used 36 players to get through that marathon. Four of them - Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic, John O'Shea and Carlos Tevez - played 50 times or more. Eleven made five or fewer appearances.

This term, Mourinho has so far used 28 players, of which only Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford could play 50 times. Three players have made five or fewer appearances.

Newcastle boss Rafael Benitez has been charged by the FA with misconduct for comments he made about the referee, prior to Newcastle United’s game against Preston North End on 24 April.

"It is alleged his comments were improper and/or brought the game into disrepute contrary to FA Rule E3(1)," said an FA statement.

He has until 18:00 BST on Tuesday 9 May to respond to the charge.

Based in the small city of Vigo (population 200,000) in the wet and windy region of Galicia in the north-west of Spain, close to the Portuguese border, Celta are by no means one of the traditional powerhouses of Spanish football.

The club spent much of its existence bouncing between Spain's top two divisions before an outbreak of success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when players such as Alexander Mostovoi, Valery Karpin and future Chelsea star Claude Makelele inspired a strong few seasons including a fourth-placed finish in La Liga in 2003.

Manchester United have been boosted by the return of several injured players on the eve of their Europa League semi-final first leg at Celta Vigo.

Defender Eric Bailly trained on Wednesday despite limping out of Sunday's draw with Swansea City.

Chris Smalling and Phil Jones took part having missed nine games with a knee injury and broken toe respectively.

Midfielder Paul Pogba returns from muscle fatigue, while Juan Mata could start after undergoing groin surgery.

Mike Tyson says Anthony Joshua's win over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley has made him the biggest name in world boxing. 

"I had actually picked Klitschko to win as I thought this was just some jumped-up young guy from England.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman dreams of coaching former club Barcelona, he has told Catalan newspaper Sport.

But the ex-defender, who spent six years at the Spanish club from 1989 to 1995, says he is committed to getting Everton into the Champions League.

Koeman, 54, is in the first season of a three-year contract having arrived from Southampton last summer.

He has been linked with a return to the Nou Camp after Luis Enrique said he was stepping down at the end of the season.

"I feel flattered and I like that they think about me," the Dutchman said.

St Helens have appointed Sydney Roosters assistant Justin Holbrook as their new head coach on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Holbrook has also worked at Canterbury, St George and Parramatta and is in charge of the Australia Under-20 side.

Derek Traynor, Jamahl Lolesi and Sean Long have been in charge since club legend Keiron Cunningham left in April.

"The club has a rich and proud history and I am very grateful to have been given the opportunity," Holbrook said.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman's assertion that he has the ambition to coach Barcelona will come as a surprise to no-one among the club's supporters or hierarchy.

Koeman, a legendary player at Barcelona as the man who scored the goal that won their first European Cup against Sampdoria at Wembley in 1992, has never hidden his desire to take charge at the Nou Camp one day.

He has also made it clear, however, that Everton is his immediate priority and believes he can move them into contention for the Champions League with the new financial firepower available at Goodison Park under major shareholder Farhad Moshiri.

Koeman, and Everton, will also know that he will not get the offer of his dream job at Barcelona by doing badly at Goodison Park.

If he does realise his long-held ambition, it will be because he has been a success at Everton - so everyone at Goodison Park is perfectly comfortable with Koeman's words about Barcelona.

Castleford Tigers' Mike McMeeken and Gold Coast Titans' Chris McQueen will make their international debuts for England in Saturday's Test against Samoa in Sydney.

The back-row pair were two of three uncapped players in the squad, with St Helens prop Alex Walmsley missing out.

McQueen, Australia-born to an English father, has previously represented Queensland in State of Origin.

Cronulla's Chris Heighington will make his first appearance since 2011.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino says Kyle Walker is still focused on the club following speculation the defender is unhappy at White Hart Lane.

Pochettino picked Kieran Trippier instead of Walker for last weekend's north London derby against Arsenal and the FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea two weeks ago.

Walker, who is said to be keen on a move to Manchester City, is in the squad to face West Ham on Friday.

Pochettino said: "All 21 players are focused to help achieve the things we want to achieve," "I am so calm. The players are calm. They know what happens inside.

"It's important that the fans know that the players are calm and we will see at the end of the season whether the rumours are true or not."

Asked about Walker's absence against Arsenal and Chelsea, Pochettino said: "For me every game is big. Crystal Palace was big. Swansea was a big game."

Basketball has changed its rules on headgear in a move that will allow players to wear the hijab during matches.

Previous rules had banned the practice, over what world governing body Fiba said was a safety issue.

The Qatar women's team withdrew from the 2014 Asian Games after being denied permission to wear the hijab - a head covering worn by many Muslim women.

On Thursday, new rules were ratified that will take effect from 1 October.
