Chelsea unsure on moving datespublished at 10:57 British Summer Time 4 May 2017

    Frank Keogh
    BBC Sport

Chelsea say they will not be commentating on recent reports speculating about when they might leave Stamford Bridge ahead of the ground’s £500m redevelopment.

The Times, external reports the club plans to temporarily move at the end of the 2019-20 season, whereas the Daily Mail, external had said they would leave after the previous campaign.

It is understood Chelsea are not certain when the move will happen or how long they will be away from the ground, whether it be three - or four - years.

Wembley remains the preferred option for an alternative home while they are away but any deal is likely to be some way off and they are assessing all options within the M25 area.

The revamp will see Chelsea's ground capacity rise to 60,000 from 41,000.

"Yes, they are electric, with confidence, pace, passing and changing positions and everything, but our form also improved.

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "Now even winning our games does not guarantee us to be in the Champions League, that is what we have to achieve.

"We focus on our own performance and I do not know what Manchester United will do. We know they have a massive squad with quality players and only a top level performance will get us the win we want.

"The only advantage we can have is to focus on ourselves and not focus on the weakness of United. I want my team to turn up and plays with a stronger performance than Sunday against Tottenham, they need to respond well.

"I take very competition seriously and the only thing I have done in the past is give youth a chance in the League Cup."
