    Everton winger Aaron Lennon, 30, was detained this week under the Mental Health Act by police over concerns for his welfare. 

    He is not suffering from a long-standing mental health issue and is expected to make a full recovery in the short term.

    His manager Ronald Koeman responded to the reports in Thursday's news conference: "It's between club, player & his family. It's best we keep it inside.

    "If we feel some have mental problems or other issues we have enough people working in club to help players with these kind of problems."

    Swansea boss Paul Clement says winger Jefferson Montero is likely to miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.

    Full-back Angel Rangel will return to training next week.

    Clement added: “We go into this game with a lot of confidence because we have played really well in recent games.

    "I think Everton will be looking to finish the season strong. We are expecting to face a strong team.”

    Twenty six jockeys face disciplinary action on Friday after a false start delayed this year's Grand National.

    It is thought the riders, including Derek Fox who rode winner One For Arthur,will accept they lined up for the start before the flag was raised.

    Penalties could range from cautions to short suspensions.

    Aintree stewards referred 31 of the 40 jockeys in the 8 April contest to the British Horseracing Authority, but five have since been cleared.

    England Women’s captain Heather Knight has sustained a small metatarsal stress fracture to her left foot and is expected to be out of action for five to six weeks.

    Knight, 26, should be available for selection for England’s Women’s World Cup warm-up fixtures, starting on 19 June against Sri Lanka.

    For the first two to three weeks of her recovery, she will wear a boot - designed to support the affected area - and will then spend the next two to three weeks back in light training and building back up to full fitness.
