Is there an NFL saying to mirror our own football one? 14-0 is a dangerous lead?

I doubt it. But no sign of, or need for, panic from the Patriots. They still have loads of time here. Martellus Bennett makes a good play for a first down. 

It really was a great throw from Matt Ryan for that touchdown. From behind the quarterback's arm you could not see a route to Austin Hooper at all, but he found it. Nailed it. 

Watch as Devonta Freeman opens the scoring to give Atlanta the lead. 

The point after the touchdown is fluffed, looks like a muffed snap but the officials call it back and penalise New England. Matt Bryant gets a second chance and nails it through. 

Austin Hooper is not to be denied on the very next play though, catching Matt Ryan's pass for a 19-yard score!

Matt Ryan throws for the end zone, Austin Hooper is up for the touchdown but Patrick Chung bats it away. Points saving stuff! 

Matt Ryan is into gear now for the Falcons, finding Taylor Gabriel and then Julio Jones , who does brilliantly to get both feet down in bounds.

Atlanta eating up the pitch with ease, into the Patriots' 20-yard line already. 

Atlanta wrap up the Patriots on third down again and they have to kick it away. Falcons coach Dan Quinn greets his defence ecstatically as they leave the pitch. What a job they are doing. 

So then Tom Brady, let's have it. He's won four of these things before so won't be bothered by a 7-0 deficit at this stage.

Brady throws long for Malcolm Mitchell but it's superb defending again, batting the ball away.

Don't forget that the Falcons have had the best offense all season and now they lead. The Patriots could be in for a long night if they can't stop this running game.

Devonta Freeman is the man to get points on the board, jagging left and skipping in from five yards. The Patriots can't get hold of him.

New England took a time out as they try and work out ho to stop a touchdown here and stop Devonta Freeman in general. His dancing feet are causing chaos. 

Atlanta moving well now, a gain of 15 from Devonta Freeman. Within sight of the end zone now...

Julio Jones is in the game. His first catch for the Falcons, quickly followed by his second for a gain of 23 yards. This is ominous.

Yeah... these guys aren't hanging around. 

I hope Lady Gaga isn't caught out by an early curtain call for the HT show....

Deion Jones was the man who stripped the ball from the hands of LeGarrette Blount. Great play.
