Los Angeles Rams 0-3 New England Patriots

Got it! Great play on third down! Jared Goff stands in the pocket and fires one to Robert Woods!

Huge first down and LA within striking distance now. Should be looking for a field goal at minimum from here...

  4. Postpublished at 6:33 Q3

  5. One play could do itpublished at 01:55 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February 2019

    Osi Umenyiora
    Two-time Super Bowl winner

The Rams just need one big play. Someone needs to make an explosive play to wake them up otherwise they are just going to keep punting the ball.

John Nolan: So long as it stays 3-0, at least you guys can be pretty sure no-one is going to bed!

Jack Mockford: Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but no team has ever been shut out in the Superbowl, and only the 71 Dolphins failed to score a touchdown in the big game!

  7. Postpublished at 6:33 Q3

Los Angeles Rams 0-3 New England Patriots

Marcus Peters breaks up the deep ball, almost an interception chance but that's really well defended. The Pats will have to punt it away.

Can I just shock you? Tom Brady finds Julian Edelman for another fine catch. Now 3rd&5...

  9. Goff still strugglingpublished at 01:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February 2019

    Osi Umenyiora
    Two-time Super Bowl winner

Jared Goff looks like a deer in the headlights. He's confused. They have taken Sean McVay out of the game here and put him out there on his own. He cannot read the defense. They are confusing that young quarterback.

    Three points all night! Three!

Come on now. We can say that defense is great to watch all night but enough is enough now. I want a touchdown or two.

Martin Veart: Is a 65 yard punt going to be the highlight of #SuperBowlLIIII, external?

Harry: If the Rams win this, how about Hekker the punter for their MVP?

  12. Postpublished at 01:49 Greenwich Mean Time 4 February 2019

Something for the Rams to enjoy - Johnny Hekker now has the longest punt in Super Bowl history...

  13. Rams puntpublished at 8:36 Q3

Los Angeles Rams 0-3 New England Patriots

Every time you look up the Rams are on third down. Jared Goff is almost wrapped up inside his own end zone and he just gets rid of it. He had nobody open.

Bill Belichick has wrapped LA up as they punt it away for an eighth successive possession.

Been saying I'd watch the Superbowl for 25 years. This is my first but I don't care about the low scoreline. The tactical and physical battle is captivating. That said, I wouldn't say no to a touchdown or two. Keep up the great punditry guys! It's an education.

The Rams are making next to no impression but as long as the score stays so tight they are always going to have a chance.

  17. Postpublished at 10:06 Q3

  18. Postpublished at 10:56 Q3

Julian Edelman is the MVP of this game so far, easily.

  19. Postpublished at 11:36 Q3

Los Angeles Rams 0-3 New England Patriots

The Patriots try to run it out from deep near their own end zone. Twice the Rams stuff the run brilliantly. Third and four...

Julian Edelman again! He just makes those third down plays look so easy. Edelman picks up 27 yards - the biggest of the game!

  20. Rams punt it awaypublished at 12:58 Q3

Los Angeles Rams 0-3 New England Patriots

Jared Goff has not completed a third-down throw! Still. The Pats defence is bang on top as Stephon Gilmore tips that one away.

The Patriots might win this 3-0 at this rate.
