Brady is still getting Julian Edelman open but overall the Rams have done a very good job of shutting him down, they're corralling him, they're getting pressure on him.

I don't think they'll be able to continue to do this for the entire game. The Rams have to go out there and do something defensively.

Todd Gurley back in the game for the Rams, collects a few yards. He's definitely not fully fit, right? Another third down - they need to convert these to get a foothold in the game - Jared Goff is sacked!

Robert Gray: Defensive football is all well and good but it's 12.35am and a touchdown would be a nice reward for the staying awake effort

David Maddox: Is it just me or is Goff just not that great? Looks like #patriots, external have copied the #bears, external tactics against him of squeezing him out of the game and cutting the communication with McVay

  6. Patriots punt itpublished at 6:14 Q2

I don't think the Patriots punted it once in last year's Super Bowl. It's a very different game indeed.

I did not expect there to be so few points, I have to be honest. But both sides are so solid in defense. Third down again for the Pats...
