  3. Postpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Carolina Panthers 3-42 New Orleans Saints

We've seen this play a few times this season - Saints put backup quarterback Taysom Hill in as a receiver and Drew Brees finds him, he has work to do but beats the last defender and runs in for a 45-yard score!

The Saints have so many weapons. That's three TD passes for Brees yet again.

Brees has 93 career games with 3+ pass TD, tied with Peyton Manning for most such games in NFL history.

  4. Postpublished at 20:15 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 17-17 Miami Dolphins

Tom Brady is sacked for the first time today, by Trent Harris. The Patriots then concede an offensive penalty and N'Keal Harry is stopped short of first down so New England have to punt too.

  5. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 17-17 Miami Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick is sacked by Jamie Collins - just the second time he's been sacked today - and the Dolphins have to punt.

Time for the Patriots to close in on that first-round bye?

  6. Rodgers comes to the partypublished at 20:12 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Detroit Lions 17-10 Green Bay Packers

Well the Packers have been pretty dreadful all game tonight but are they coming to life at the right time?

Aaron Rodgers buys time in the pocket and floats a beauty of a pass into the hands of Davante Adams.

Game very much on. And the Packers need a win to miss out on the wildcard round in the playoffs.

  7. Postpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 22-16 Atlanta Falcons

Never a dull moment in Tampa Bay this season.

And Jameis Winston is in good company. The other seven?

Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees (x4), Ben Roethlisberger, Patrick Mahomes, Dan Marino, Matt Stafford.

  11. Chiefs catching firepublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Kansas City Chiefs 24-14 LA Chargers

It's been a brilliant response from the Chiefs to going behind. They have now stretched out a lead as Damien Williams takes the ball 84 yards to the house! What a run that is, although the Chargers will not be happy with a few tackles at the line there.

That's more pressure on the Patriots...

  12. Patriots touchdownpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 17-17 Miami Dolphins

There we go, the home fans ain't booing now.

Miami don't even bother covering linebacker Elandon Roberts. Tom Brady finds him with a short pass to the right and Roberts finishes it off well, brushing off one defender and running into the corner for a 38-yard touchdown - the first of his NFL career.

  13. Postpublished at 19:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 10-17 Miami Dolphins

Tom Brady has made two of four passes on this drive, with Mohamed Sanu making a 10-yard grab to get New England into Miami territory.

  14. Points, points, points...published at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

The Saints have scored 34+ points in four straight games and in six of their last seven.

  15. Dolphins touchdownpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 10-17 Miami Dolphins

Some more Fitzmagic from the 37-year-old. Ryan Fitzpatrick jinks up the middle then ducks into a tackle as he enters the end zone for his fourth rushing touchdown of the year.

Miami are back in front in Foxborough.

  16. Postpublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 10-10 Miami Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick scrambles for 10 yards. Decent footwork for a 37-year-old.

The Miami quarterback then connects with tight end Mike Gesicki to make it 1st & Goal for the Dolphins.

  17. Postpublished at 19:45 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 10-10 Miami Dolphins

Oh, interesting. It's another trick play from the Dolphins, with receiver Albert Wilson making a pass to running back Patrick Laird, who has space to run into for a 20-yard gain.

Miami are up to New England's 21-yard line.

  18. Cheifs back in frontpublished at 19:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

Kansas City Chiefs 17-14 LA Chargers

That's how you respond to going behind! A 104-yard kick-off return touchdown from Mecole Hardman puts the Chiefs back in front!

A superb, jinking run. Oh hang on, did he step out of bounds? It goes to the review booth. It's very hard to tell...

    Touchdown stands!

  19. Postpublished at 19:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2019

New England Patriots 10-10 Miami Dolphins

Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn't had much joy since Miami's second drive, which resulted in a field goal.

But he's just found DeVante Parker for a 10-yard catch. That's four catches now for the Dolphins receiver, for 77 yards.
