Patrick Mahomes cannot be taking hits like that. It was fascinating by what the Kansas City Chiefs were able to do, they were able to run the ball and the 49ers cannot allow the Chiefs to do that.

Patrick Mahomes is sacked for a one-yard loss before scrambling to the right. He's just three yards short of the endzone when he's clattered by Jimmy Ward, who knocks the ball loose.

Ward has actually come off worse, though, and will need treatment.

The Chiefs have got going on this drive, with Patrick Mahomes making passes to Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

Kelce makes an 11-yard gain to get the Chiefs up to the 49ers' 14-yard line.

Whenever San Francisco are in danger they will look to George Kittle. But I don't like what I just saw from San Francisco.

They were trying too many tricks and they need to get back to what got them here.
