  1. Field goal misspublished at 18:22 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-0 Chicago Bears

Cairo Santos drags his field goal try wide left from just 40 yards out, which is just the distance where top kickers shouldn't be missing really.

That's a blow as points could be hard to come by here today.

  2. touchdown

Touchdown - Pantherspublished at 18:21 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Washington Football Team 0-7 Carolina Panthers

Just one drive in and Cam Newton already has a huge grim across his face. The Carolina quarterback steps up out of the pocket to fire a 10-yard pass to DJ Moore in the end zone for the opening score in Charlotte.

  3. touchdown

Touchdown - Coltspublished at 18:19 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 7-0 Buffalo Bills

Jonathan Taylor gets his 10th rushing touchdown of the season in what is a pretty loud opening statement from the Colts by running right over the league's best defence for the opening TD of the game.

There's something about running the ball against a top defence that really sends out a maessage - and the message here is that Indy feel they can face these powerful Bills head on!

  4. touchdown

Touchdown - Dolphinspublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Miami Dolphins 7-0 New York Jets

The Miami Dolphins have a divisional match-up today against the New York Jets, who are again propping up the AFC East.

And the Dolphins have drawn first blood, with Tua Tagovailoa making all six passes on the drive. They then dial up a trick play, snapping the ball directly to running back Myles Gaskin, who hands it off for Jaylen Waddle to ease into the corner from a yard.

  5. Taylor takes rushing leadpublished at 18:13 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Indianapolis Colts 0-0 Buffalo Bills

Jonathan Taylor takes the lead in the NFL rushing charts as he leads Indianapolis on a powerful opening drive against the league's best defence in almost every category.

  6. field goal

Field goal - Packerspublished at 18:11 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Green Bay Packers 3-0 Minnesota Vikings

Always good to get points off the opening drive, and always nice for Mason Crosby to split the uprights as he's missed more than his share recently. But the veteran nails this one from a full 54 yards showing impressive leg strength to put the Packers ahead.

  7. Postpublished at 18:10 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Washington Football Team 0-0 Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton made an instant impact on his return to the Carolina Panthers last week, replacing PJ Walker for a handful of snaps and rushing for one touchdown while passing for another in their 34-10 upset of the Arizona Cardinals.

The former MVP is in from the start today as Carolina face Washington, who also pulled off an upset last week by beating the defending champions Tampa Bay 29-19.

  8. Welcome to Chicago!published at 18:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

    Baltimore Ravens 0-0 Chicago Bears

Tyler Huntley gets a close-up look at the turf inside Soldier Field as Robert Quinn comes from behind and drags him down. Huntley does look lively on his feet and is a bit of a Lamar Jackson type when playing that's for sure.

He did well then to keep the ball when being hit hard.

  9. Great play!published at 18:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Green Bay Packers v Minnesota Vikings

37 yards on the first play of the game for Green Bay with Aaron Rodgers hitting who else but Davante Adams! That's already more from Rodgers than we saw last week in one play!

  10. And we're off!published at 18:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Week 11 in the NFL is underway...

  11. Will Detroit's '0' finally go?published at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Detriot Lions v Cleveland Browns (18:00)

Welcome to our weekly 'Can the Lions win a game?' segment and this week's instalment comes from Cleveland where Detroit will start back-up QB Tim Boyle in search of that first win.

Jared Goff is injured so Boyle makes his first NFL start against the 5-5 Browns, who will be an angry side after being battered by the Patriots last week.

    Good luck!

  12. Colts out for revenge in Buffalopublished at 17:57 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Indianapolis Colts v Buffalo Bills (18:00)

This could be a superb rematch of January's exciting play-off game where the Colts could, and perhaps should, have beaten the Bills, but now they have the chance to exact revenge and put a real speedbump into Buffalo's charge.

The Bills (6-3) responded to a shock defeat by lowly Jacksonville with a big win last week, but both Buffalo and Indy (5-5) have been padding their stats with wins over lower-ranked teams of late. Both have also suffered bad losses (see the Jags).

Indianappolis have lost twice in overtime and have been outscored 96-62 in the fourth quarters, while all three of Buffalo’s defeats have been by a touchdown or less.

The Colts have running back Jonathan Taylor, who is about to overtake the injured Derrick Henry as the league's top rusher, but he faces one of the league’s top defences.

Buffalo are the best in the league allowing just 15 points per game and they’ll need to lean on that here to get the win in what should be a tough battle in the trenches.

  13. Packers D to show up again?published at 17:54 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Green Bay Packers v Minnesota Vikings (18:00)

Aaron Rodgers was underwhelming in his return last week following all that Covid controversy, but the Green Bay defence was impressive again as they pitched a shutout against the Seahawks to fire the Packers into the top seed in the NFC.

A trip to the 4-5 Vikings doesn't seem too scary on paper, but Minnesota were excellent when beating the Chargers in LA last week, and they're seemingly always involved in tight games.

Mike Zimmer's side have played overtime three times already this season and had four games decided by four points or less, so you never leave a Vikings game early!

Rodgers will need to show up a bit more than last week, but he again may not be needed to do a lot - it's rare we talk about the Packers' defence like this but they've been lights-out the last few weeks.

  14. Jackson OUT for Ravenspublished at 17:53 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

Baltimore Ravens @ Chicago Bears (10:00)

It's a big blow for the Baltimore Ravens with QB Lamar Jackson not being able to play due to illness, although it's not Covid related.

Tyler Huntley will make his first NFL start and many believe he's similar to Jackson but making your bow at Soldier Field in Chicago is not exactly an ideal first start!

The Bears defence will be all over Huntley so watch out for this game as a possible upset as Jackson, the former MVP, has been such a huge part of Baltimore's attack this season.

And their defence hasn't been too good. Baltimore lost in Miami last time out remember....

  15. Fear the Patriots!published at 17:48 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2021

New England Patriots 25-0 Atlanta Falcons

It's November, and the Patriots are rolling on a five-game win streak behind a fearsome defence and punishing run game under Bill Belichick and a stylish QB who doesn't give the ball away too often...

    We've seen this movie before!

The Pats are now 7-4 and top of the AFC East (the Bills can regain top spot tonight) and have to play Buffalo twice in December.

    Media caption,

New England Patriots intercept the Atlanta Falcons four times in defensive rout

Are New England back? That's the big question being asked by terrified fans of the other 31 teams as they thought the era of domination ended when Tom Brady left, but Mac Jones could be the ideal replacement.

Give Belichick a defence like this heading towards the play-offs and he'll fancy his chances against anyone.

Yep, that's right, it's Week 11 in the NFL already, how did that happen!?

We've got some big games yet again tonight including a bumper early slate of nine games in the 18:00 GMT kick-offs.

Among them are two of the three teams with the best records in the NFL currently as the Tennessee Titans head to Houston to face the lowly Texans while the Green Bay Packers face a testing trip to Minnesota against divisional rivals the Vikings.

The third 8-2 team is the Arizona Cardinals who play at 21:25 up in Seattle but have big doubts over who will start at quarterback against the Seahawks.

Get set for another lively night on the gridiron.
