We just take a moment as Taron Johnson gets looked at, it looked like he may have hyper extended his knee but he's at least able to walk off under his own steam.

The Buffalo cornerback heads straight off down the tunnel for treatment.

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

They've only got 11 points on the board, but Trevor Lawrence has made some big-time throws today - this time converting a third down to Calvin Ridley.

Ridley just seems to know how to get open when his QB needs him - that's his fourth catch of the day.

  3. Postpublished at 16:42 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Travis Etienne gets hit hard as the Jags lose one - at least I think they did - there's a Buffalo Bills fan just in front of the press box with a huge sombrero on limiting visibility at times....

  4. Puntpublished at 16:40 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

A few murmurs as Buffalo opt to punt on fourth a 10. It's a risky play to try and get the 10 yards, although Josh Allen only just failed to hit Dawson Knox the play earlier.

Was the field goal in range? It would've been about a 60-yarder, close o an NFL record, and Tyler Bass obviously doesn't have a big enough leg for that.

They showed a baby on the big screen earlier with ear defenders on. I need some myself.

Genuinely, I've been to hundreds of sporting events and I've never experienced noise like this before.

The roar when Diggs claimed that catch on halfway... I'm going to have to cover my ears if the Bills go in front here.

  6. Allen goes longpublished at 16:37 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

I tell you who isn't looking back in anger, and that's Stefon Diggs, who is looking back for the football after ghosting in behind the Jags secondary.

Josh Allen has a cannon for an arm but even his ball is a bit of a floater, meaning Diggs has to check his run and time his leap to perfection to gather it in - which he does!

A huge 48 yards there for Buffalo.

  7. Don't look back in angerpublished at 16:35 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

All of a sudden I'm back at Knebworth 96 as we have a short break for the crowd to have a singalong to the Oasis classic.

We needed that after all that frenetic action in the last few minutes.

  8. Flags everywhere!published at 16:34 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Flags come in left, right and centre on the punt return - not sure the refs have any left in their pockets after that.

And the funny thing is they're all for Buffalo! That's going to back Josh Allen up to his own 10-yard line.

It's end-to-end stuff here despite no points being scored!

  9. Fumble!published at 16:32 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Trevor Lawrence fumbles the ball - the crowd goes crazy and players dive everywhere trying to scoop it up.

But it's like a bar of soap out there and eventually the ball goes out of bounds. The Jags have to punt after all that excitement.

  10. Sackpublished at 16:31 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Down goes Trevor Lawrence at the hands of AJ Epenesa - who is having some game - and that sets the Jags back seven yards.

  11. Great play!published at 16:30 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Travis Etienne is on his bike again, and as turns the corner he can scamper down the sideline for 31 yards.

  12. Huge penalty!published at 16:28 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

That's a monumental penalty on the Bills, as Jordan Poyer smashes into Calvin Ridley from behind, to the head, when the ball's not even there.

The pass was tipped and that was set to be a hugely uncomfortable punt out of their own end zone, but instead they get a first down freebie and get out of jail massively.

  13. Postpublished at 16:26 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

There are plenty of fans who haven't made it back to their seats after what is a short half-time in NFL games, but there's enough Bills Mafia to make a a racket and it forces the Jags into a false start.

They're not facing a first and 13 on their own three-yard line.

  14. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

A penalty on the return for the Jags backs them up into their own six-yard line. This is where the Bills defence will look to step up and pin them back.

Pressure on Trevor Lawrence about to be dialled up...

  15. Puntpublished at 16:22 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen is running quicker than half the press box heading down for half-time media catering (chicken & chips FYI) and when he can't find a pass the Bills have to punt it away.

    That's a familiar story today.

  16. First downpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

Just like that, Allen finds Stefon Diggs again for 14 yards and the Bills have the ball on their own 39-yard line.

  17. Back under waypublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

And we're off for the second half, with the Jags punting the ball into the end zone. Josh Allen and the Bills have the ball in their hands and the chance to take the lead for the first time.

  18. 'Let's go Buffalo'published at 16:16 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

Buffalo fans were in full voice outside the Bill Nicholson earlier. If the locals didn't know the Bills' favourite chant, they do you now.

'Hey hey, hey hey; let's go Buffalo' was being belted out in the London sunshine.

Zoom in below and you may be able to make out the Josh Allen Fun Club, who've come all the way from Tampere.

The mind boggles as to what a bunch of 20-something Josh Allen fans do for 'fun' in Finland (besides enjoy a beverage and watch the football, of course)

  19. Who's going to win this one?published at 16:14 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 11-7 Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills needed that final drive before the half. Josh Allen is now up to 116 passing yards for the game while Trevor Lawrence has 192 - and they've passed for a touchdown apiece.

Who is going to come out on top in the second half?

Hit thumbs up for the Jags, down for the Bills!!

It's unseasonably warm in north London today, so NFL fans took the opportunity to soak up the sun outside pubs around Tottenham before the game.

Here are some Buffalo fans enjoying a drink at the Bill Nicholson, with the shiny Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just visible in the background. I wonder what Spurs' legendary player and manager would make made of White Hart Lane making way for the first purpose-built NFL stadium outside the US.
