  1. Flag on the play...published at 14:50 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Buffalo Bills

Hang on! There's a penalty flag on the field here, and it's against Buffalo!

That's huge and gives the Jags a first down on the five-yard line

  2. Close!published at 14:48 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Buffalo Bills

Trevor Lawrence sees the pocket collapse around him but just before he's dragged to the ground he lets a hopeful toss into the end zone go, which just evades two receivers.

    Fourth down coming up...

  3. Jags motoringpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Buffalo Bills

It's a quick hand-off to Calvin Ridley in motion for a nice round to the left followed by a dart of a throw from Trevor Lawrence to Christian Kirk for a big gain and all of a sudden the Jags are knocking on the door of the red zone.

  4. Three-and-outpublished at 14:42 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Buffalo Bills

Well, not a great start from Buffalo, who empty the backfield and let Josh Allen throw it on third down needing just two yards, but James Cooks drops the pass and the Bills have to kick it away as well.

Quite common for big games to be dominated by defence early on - especially with defences like these two.

  5. Osi is a big fan of Josh Allenpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

“Worth every single penny (of his $258m contract). Whenever you have a quarterback like this you like to call them ‘generational quarterbacks’. He’s a generational talent, he can do everything, this is one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL." - Two-time Super Bowl winner Osi Umenyiora on ITV

  6. Jags have to puntpublished at 14:38 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars 0-0 Buffalo Bills

The Jags run the ball on third and one but that's gobbled up by the Bills defence - they actually lose a yard and have to punt it away.

Logan Cooke hits a high spiral but it takes a heavy bounce forward and into the end zone for a touchback. Josh Allen will get the ball from the 20.

  7. Big responsibility for Trevor Lawrencepublished at 14:34 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

    Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills

Trevor Lawrence had his best performance of the season last week in the 23-7 win over Atlanta Falcons at Wembley, throwing for 207 yards and a touchdown with a passer rating of 105.8.

With just four touchdowns this season, it's fair to say Jaguars fans are hoping he has another level to get to.

"He’s going to have to perform. The entire hopes and dreams of the Jaguars are rested on him," said two-time Super Bowl winner Osi Umenyiora on ITV.

The Bills beat the Jags at Wembley in 2015 in Buffalo's only regular season game in the UK - with no players or coaches still with the team from that game.

Jacksonville beat Atlanta last week to improve to 4-5 at Wembley, while they won their only previous game at Tottenham - a 23-20 victory over Miami two years ago.

And we're off! It's a messy-looking squib kick from Tyler Bass but it works out well and the Jags will get the ball on their own 15.

    Here comes Trevor Lawrence...

After losing in overtime at the Jets in their first game, the Buffalo Bills have been superb in three dominant wins since.

They've played like a team among the Super Bowl favourites, with last week's blowout win over the high-flying Miami Dolphins particularly impressive - making it winning margins of 28, 34 and 28 points in those three.

They're such a well-rounded team leading the league in offensive and defensive stats such as...

    • Completion percentage
    • Red zone passing TDs
    • Scoring drive percentage
    • Total Takeaways
    • Interceptions
    • Sacks
  11. Bills win the tosspublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills (14:30 BST)

A good omen? Well, they had a 50-50 chance but the Bills win the coin toss and defer so the Jags will get the ball first when we kick-off in a few moments time.

    First, the anthems....

The Jags run out to a chorus of boos. Yep, the Bills are definitely at home as they get a huge reception as they run out - Josh Allen getting a special roar as he comes out near the back of the pack.

So, we've got two teams on the field, two huge flags about to be unfurled - almost game time!

There's definitely a home game atmosphere here at Tottenham for the Buffalo Bills, with huge roars going up as their team is announced - and it could get very loud for Jacksonville when they have the ball.

The Bills Mafia is definitely in the house today...

Two things from this season's NFL London games - we've got three games on three successive Sundays and the Jacksonville Jaguars playing in back-to-back games.

It's no coincidence either as it's all part of the NFL testing just how strong the love for NFL is in the UK, with the possible end goal being a team being based over here or in Europe.

Will fans come out three Sundays in a row? Could one team drum up enough support to host a season of games? The answers to those questions will have a big say in what happens next.

  15. Team news - Hamlin left out by Bills, Miller returnspublished at 14:17 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills (14:30 BST)

Last week Damar Hamlin came in for his first regular season game since suffering a cardiac arrest in January.

Fellow safety Jordan Poyer has recovered from a knee injury, though, so returns to the Bills' squad, with Hamlin back amongst today's inactive list.

Von Miller is also set for his season debut for Buffalo having last played on 24 November, when he suffered a torn ACL.

The 34-year-old linebacker ranks as the sack leader among active defensive players with 123.5 overall - that puts him 19th on the all-time list. Look out Trevor Lawrence!!

Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills (14:30 BST)

Trevor Lawrence found six different receivers at Wembley last week for a total of 207 passing yards.

Now he has another to aim for as wide receiver Zay Jones has returned from injury along with Jamal Agnew, Jacksonville's top kick/punt returner.

Jones, who had 823 receiving yards in his first year with the Jaguars last season, has missed the last two games with a knee injury while Agnew missed last week's win over Atlanta with a thigh injury.

NFL: Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen faces Jacksonville Jaguars's Josh Allen

The Jags beat the Bills in a tough 9-6 win in November 2021, with Jacksonville's Josh Allen getting the better of his Buffalo namesake.

Allen the defender sacked Allen the QB once, also grabbed an interception and recovered a fumble from the Bills star man.

"He got me last time we played," said Buffalo's Josh Allen. "He's coming off a really good week too. He's a baller. He's still considered kind of a young guy in this league, but he's playing really good football right now.

"And their defensive group right now is playing at a high level, they work together very well. So, we're going to have our hands full."

  18. Miller time...almostpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills (14:30 BST)

Von Miller has been out for 10 months with an ACL injury, but said on Friday that he had a 94.5% chance to play.

"I think that's a safe bet. It's been a long road to recovery," Miller said. "Had two really good practices, had a really good practice today, and I think it's a safe bet that I'll be out there for sure.

"I don't expect me to jump right into things. But I expect to just put my toe in a little bit and then work my way out to the deep end so I can start swimming, but it's a brutal sport, it's a fun sport and I'm sure it'll take some time for me to get where I want to be."

  19. Changing roomspublished at 14:10 British Summer Time 8 October 2023

Jacksonville Jaguars v Buffalo Bills (14:30 BST)

London may be a second home for the Jaguars, but they had to look for a second home this week after being kicked out of their hotel by the Buffalo Bills.

As the 'home' team, the Bills chose to stay at The Grove Hotel just outside London, where the Jags had based themselves for last week's game.

Jacksonville then had to pack up their stuff and switch hotels to Hanbury Manor this week. Gamesmanship from Buffalo?
