  1. ouch!

Rice worrypublished at 03:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-16 Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice gets his seventh catch of the night, but the excellent rookie takes a heavy tumble and he's down on the field with the training staff taking a look.

Given how he's played tonight that's a big worry for KC.

The Chiefs defence again does their job and forces a quick punt away from the Dolphins to start the second half. Tua is forced out of the pocket and although he tires his best he just can't reach the first down marker.

We're back underway at Arrowhead - which is still half-empty with fans sheltering below the stands most likely. It's certainly a cold one, as you can tell if you've seen Andy Reid's frozen moustache.

  5. Rice stepping up for Mahomespublished at 02:55 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-16 Kansas City Chiefs

Six receptions, 92 yards, one touchdown and another called back - Rashee Rice has been Mahomes' favourite target in the first half.

'Rashee Rice is really coming through for Mahomes. It’s his ability to get yards after the catch. It’s hard to bring him down' - Jason Bell, former NFL cornerback, on Sky Sports

  6. 'Sometimes guys will get comfortable'published at 02:47 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-16 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL quarterback and coach Jason Garrett: "Patrick Mahomes seems unfazed by it (the cold) and Travis Kelce has dropped a couple. For Miami, they've made some makeable plays and not really been able to pass it.

"At half-time, you'll go in and maybe get a hot chocolate. Mentally, sometimes guys will get comfortable and it's difficult when you get back out there."

  7. Half-timepublished at 02:45 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-16 Kansas City Chiefs

A penalty costs Miami any chance of making a finding the end zone again as they were trying to find somewhere to east fish and chips.

  8. field goal

Miami Dolphins 7-16 Kansas City Chiefs

Miami stands firm again though and forces the Chiefs to take the field goal from Harrison Butker - who is kicking well so far and makes no mistake from 32 yards.

  9. Sackpublished at 02:32 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Tua goes down under pressure when he can't find anyone open, and the sack brings up fourth down for Miami, who had to punt.

  10. Postpublished at 02:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-13 Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs are fuming as Brandon Jones gets hold of Mecole Hardman as he's rushing through in top open space looking to catch a Mahomes pass.

The replay doesn't go down well with the home crowd as the boos ring out around the stadium.

  11. Turnoverpublished at 02:24 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Big turnover here as Miami go for it on fourth down around midfield, but the Chiefs stand up to it, putting pressure on Tua and then knocking down his intended pass.

Chiefs get the ball back on their logo in the middle of the field.

  12. Postpublished at 02:21 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Miami moving the ball nicely in response, mainly on the ground with Raheem Mostert doing the heavy lifting.

They're just over midfield and you know Tua is just biding his time before trying to get the ball to Tyreek Hill

  13. field goal

Field goal - Chiefspublished at 02:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-13 Kansas City Chiefs

Harrison Butker slots a 26-yarder but there'll be a bit of disappointment in that after Rashee Rice found the end zone but, not for the first time this season, a penalty has cost the Chiefs.

  14. Touchdown ruled outpublished at 02:13 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-10 Kansas City Chiefs

Rashee Rice runs in for his second touchdown, or so he thinks until he spots the flags on the field, which is on the Chiefs and rules out the score.

  15. 'Go be Patrick Mahomes'published at 02:12 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-10 Kansas City Chiefs

Former NFL quarterback and coach Jason Garrett: "That's the formula right there - play within the system, but in the big moments, go be Patrick Mahomes.

"He just sees the [pass] rush, feels the rush, then makes his body 'skinny'."

  16. Great play!published at 02:11 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Patrick Mahomes is on the move!

He's not particularly fast or graceful as a runner, but he's elusive and not many are better at scrambling, especially when it matters.

And it certainly mattered on a fourth and five, which Mahomes took 28 yards to the Miami 10.

  17. Balancing act for both teamspublished at 02:07 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

The pattern of this game could change with each possession. Kansas City made a positive start but have since been a bit more cautious.

Miami, meanwhile, began cautiously but have gradually got more expansive, resulting in that touchdown for Tyreek Hill.

It seems to be a bit of a balancing act, with each team deciding how risky they'll play it depending on how they feel about the cold each time they get the ball back.

  18. Postpublished at 02:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-10 Kansas City Chiefs

"He’s literally impossible to stop. There’s no-one faster" - Phoebe Shecter, former Buffalo Bills coach, on Tyreek Hill

  19. Postpublished at 02:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-10 Kansas City Chiefs

Just watching it back it's such a simple play but Mike McDaniel set it up with plenty of motion on the previous plays - including one where Hill got a short pass.

But this time the speedster just puts his head down and uses that sprinter's speed that nobody can match in the NFL, especially a cornerback who has to turn before trying to catch him!

  20. 'He will score'published at 02:03 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins 7-10 Kansas City Chiefs

"You’ve got to love how they dialled up that play. Your number one receiver has been getting double coverage so you move him around, forces the defence to react. If you don’t get your hands on Tyreek Hill he will score" Jason Bell, former NFL cornerback, on Sky Sports
