Incredibly, with the Chiefs finishing as third seeds in the AFC it's the lowest Patrick Mahomes has ever finished in his career, as he's previously led the team to one of the top two seeds.

That's why the Chiefs have played 14 straight play-off games at home at Arrowhead Stadium, but if they win there they'll likely have to go on the road for the first time in the Mahomes era.

These fans are certainly dressed for the -20C conditions in Kansas, although it's still pretty brave trying to tailgate!

  5. Miami out in the coldpublished at 00:46 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

Miami Dolphins @ Kansas City Chiefs (01:00 GMT)

It's natural that people from Florida wouldn't like the cold, but the Miami Dolphins really don't - they've lost their last 10 games when the weather is 40 degrees Fahrenheit or below - and lost by an average of 17 points.

Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who is from Hawaii, said he'd never experienced temperatures "lower than 15 degrees" when asked.

"You can't prepare for a game like that with that kind of weather. So it will be new," Tua admitted in the build-up.

We've got the champions coming up next as the Kansas City Chiefs host the Miami Dolphins at a frozen Arrowhead Stadium.

It's positively Baltic in Kansas City, so who knows what will happen in this one - we're just putting the kettle on before we settle back in for what should be a cracker.

  8. Stroud for MVP?published at 00:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

The Houston fans were chanting 'MVP' during the game and CJ Stroud's three-touchdown performance was impressive.

He's a big favourite for offensive rookie of the year and could be an outsider for MVP.

"We knew he was great and he did not disappoint. Nothing was too big for him – he delivered" - Jason Bell, former NFL cornerback, on Sky Sports

"The Browns were ranked the number one defence coming into tonight. That could have been a big mountain to climb but he treated them like any other team" - Phoebe Shecter, Former Buffalo Bills coach, on Sky Sports

  9. Impressive defensive display from the Texanspublished at 00:31 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

"Just incredible defence. Whenever you saw a Browns player you had about five Texans around him which is what you want to see" - Phoebe Shecter, Former Buffalo Bills coach, on Sky Sports

  10. Full-time - Texans win!published at 00:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

All over and Houston advance, and put the NFL on notice that they are very much the real deal.

Their rookie head coach DeMeco Ryans, their record-breaking rookie quarterback CJ Stroud and their young, hungry defence are all legit.

These young Texans will be a threat whoever they end up playing next.

  11. Victory formationpublished at 00:23 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

CJ Stroud's back-up Davis Mills is taking a knee a couple of times to put Cleveland out of their misery, and the game, and put Houston officially into the divisional round of the NFL play-offs.

  12. Postpublished at 00:17 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

CJ Stroud is set for another record as he'll soon become the youngest quarterback to win a play-off game, beating Michael Vick's previous record.

He just looks like a different breed to most other rookie QBs.

  13. Garrett threat negatedpublished at 00:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

The Texans really took away the threat of the Browns' star pass rusher Myles Garrett.

“When you don’t have your best player making players and creating havoc, it’s going to be tough” - Ndamukong Suh, 2021 Super Bowl winner, on Sky Sports

  14. Postpublished at 00:14 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

Mr Brightside by The Killers being pumped out of the speakers in Houston, but while there's plenty for the hosts there aren't too many bright sides to look on for Cleveland.

Houston have a rookie head coach and QB combo that could be around for the next decade - and a young team that could be a real force in years to come.

  15. Jumping for joypublished at 00:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

This could well be Houston's front office as well - as they can credit Cleveland for some of this success, ironically enough.

The Browns handed Houston a huge package of draft picks for sign Deshaun Watson - who is out injured while the Texans have built an exciting young team using in part those Cleveland draft picks.

  16. Turnoverpublished at 00:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

Joe Flacco is trying his best, but David Njoku drops what looked a first-down completion and Houston get the ball back again as we enter the final 10 minutes of the game.

  17. A pair of pick sixespublished at 00:04 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

After no pick sixes all season, Houston have got two tonight! And haven't they enjoyed them...

  18. 'Great balance from the Texans'published at 23:59 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

Former NFL quarterback Todd Blackledge: "The Texans have had great balance - excellent play calling, excellent execution and a defence which has scored two touchdowns."

  19. touchdown

Touchdown - Texans!published at 23:57 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-45 Houston Texans

Start the car! Devin Singletary makes one cut and is able to run and then leap into the end zone for a 19-yard rushing touchdown.

That's surely the final nail in the coffin for Cleveland's chances of progression as Houston continue to execute all of their game plans to perfection.

  20. End of third quarterpublished at 23:55 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January

    Cleveland Browns 14-38 Houston Texans

What drama during that quarter - from marching down the field and looking to strike back, the Browns have crumbled and now we're probably one more Texans touchdown away from Houston being able to rest their starters for the fourth quarter!
