  9. Time to say goodbye...published at 18:30 British Summer Time 12 August 2017

    28 August, 2011.

Mo Farah took silver in the world 10,000m championship final in Daegu in agonising fashion as he was overtaken by Ethiopia's Ibrahim Jeilan just metres from the line.

If that hurt him, he had a good way of getting over it...

He's forgotten what silver looks like

He won the 5,000m final a week later before his famous double at London 2012 made him a true household name.

Add another double in Moscow in 2013, another one in Beijing in 2015 and ANOTHER one in Rio last year to take him to nine straight golds in major championships.

A 10th gold last weekend in London in the 10,000m means that he goes into tonight's race, his final race on the track, with an incredible winning streak to preserve.

Oh, and it's also the last race for a certain Usain Bolt...

How will athletics cope without them? Are you ready to say goodbye...?
