Men's 800m semi-finals
Elliot Giles of Great Britain is in heat one, where the Qatar athlete in the field goes through 400m in a suicidal 48-second pace.
Wesley Vasquez of Puerto Rico is the first to try and join him and even he has gone quite early here.
The pack seize on the front two inch by inch but Vazquez holds and holds out. He's practically walking in the final 50m and his legs looks totally empty. His head is bowed, he's clinging on and he makes it from Kenya's Ferguson Cheruiyot Rotich.
A 1:43.96 run from Vazquez. Elliot Giles in fifth is eliminated, as is Polish favourite Adam Kszczot.
Women's pole vault final
America's Sandi Morris, a silver medallist in London two years ago, keeps herself in the gold medal position with a first-time clearance of 4.85m.
She studied broadcast journalism as a university student. She's coming for my job...
There's pole vault, there's triple jump and now back on the track, there are some men's 800m semi-finals with three British interests. Fancy it? Me too...
The women's 100m final at 21:20 BST looks set to be a case of racing to beat Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, as her semi-final display below underlined.

Holly Bradshaw's personal best outdoors is 4.81m in the pole vault achieved back in 2017 - the bar is now at 4.85m.
If you're just tuning in, Dina Asher-Smith eased into the women's 100m final, which will begin at 21:20 BST. Here's how she did it.
Women's pole vault final
The field has thinned out, and we've gone from 17 down to seven.
Holly Bradshaw is the second to try and clear 4.85m - and she can't clear it first time round!
Women's pole vault final
Well. This just happened.
An Angelica Bengtsson moment that made us all wince. She was straight back on her feet, ran back in and, on her third attempt, cleared 4.80m to keep herself in the competition. Nerves of steel.

Just been handed the teamsheet for the first 4x400m mixed relay final at the World Championships.
GB will be (in order of legs) - Rabah Yousif, Zoey Clark, Emily Diamond and Martyn Rooney (textbook final legger).
Legend Allyson Felix - who has won 11 world titles - is on the second leg for the USA.
BTW, all teams have gone male, female, female, male except Poland who have gone male, male, female, female.

Without spoiling the final, I think we've already seen what we're going to see - Shelly-Ann is going to be like Coleman. I don't think anyone can challenge her at this point.
The race will be between Asher-Smith and Ta Lou. It will be very close between those two for silver and bronze.
If it wasn't good enough already at 10.82, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has had her mark rounded down to 10.81.
Show off.

That was another superb display from Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce. She's right at the top of her game.
She knows it's on - the final everyone was looking forward to, between the three top sprinters, is on.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce was the most impressive, again Three steps into that race, she was already in the lead. She was dominating.
It really establishes her, just like we saw with Coleman - someone is going to have to run a personal best to beat her tonight.

Women's 100m semi-finals
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce out of the blocks like a rocket launch.
Good luck catching her. She's racing on her own and it's 10.82, a shade quicker than Dina Asher-Smith.
The race for second is tight but Murielle Ahoure - 11.05 - edging Dafne Schippers - 11.07.
Schippers through as a fastest loser.
A reminder Dina Asher-Smith is through. Now to the woman who looks like she will be her biggest threat in this third and final semi-final. Two to go through...

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Price looks so focused and so composed. I think she's very confident she can run fast.
Women's 100m semi-finals
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has hair featuring a bit of green and pink tonight. The Jamaican was quickest in the heats and the pace looks set to come from her, Murielle Ahoure and of course Dutch star Dafne Schippers.
