  1. Post update

Anyway, that is that from the Excel.

Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jnr more than lived up to their billing as they thrilled the crowd earlier.

Unfortunately, Tyson Fury's contest with Dereck Chisora proved to be a mismatch of epic proportions as Fury sauntered to victory.

And with that I bid you good night. Cheerio.

  2. Post update

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Tyson Fury's promoter, Mick Hennessey, speaking in the ring: "Tyson's mandatory now for the heavyweight world title. Wladimir Klitschko's being allowed one more fight in March or April, then it'll be purse bids, then the fight's on. It'll be June to September. The big fight is on, and Klitschko has to just take it and not swerve it."

  3. Post update

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Tyson Fury's uncle and coach, Peter, speaking in the ring: "I'm very proud of him. He stuck to instruction. This was a very important fight to get the win. He's using his brain now when he's boxing. He had so many more tools than Dereck and he used them."

  4. Post update

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Tyson Fury speaking in the ring: "Which other heavyweight in the world can box southpaw against a world-class fighter like Dereck, a fighter who will give any other heavyweight a tough fight? I'm very proud of my performance. And these belts are coming home to Manchester.

"Klitschko, I'm coming. No surrender. I'm the Gypsy Warrior!"

  5. Post update

If Nathan Cleverly v Tony Bellew was an anti-climax last weekend, what was this? There was zero entertainment for those 18,000 who waited so patiently at the Excel. There were about 6,000 left by the end.

Harsh to criticise Tyson Fury though. He was there to win the fight and that was done to devastating effect.

He would probably have been imagining celebrating victory in front of a packed house. Instead, one man and his dog are left to watch what became a damp squib.

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Tyson Fury (right) in action against Dereck Chisora

Tommy D: Worst boxing match I've ever seen...

Cam Melling: Anything but a classic, but a strangely professional job from Tyson Fury. On to bigger things now.

  7. Post update

So is it Wladimir Klitschko next for Tyson Fury for the heavyweight world title? I'm not sure the Ukrainian would fancy that too much...

  8. Round 10

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chisora's corner: "Champ. I want you to finish on your feet. Come out of here..."

  9. Tyson Fury wins

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Dereck Chisora's corner win the argument and the fight is stopped as they pull their man out. Fury was imperious.

  10. Post update

An argument in Chisora's corner about whether the fight goes on..

  11. Round 10

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Almost a half-pleading look from Chisora towards the official as Fury lands with continuous jabs. He gets through the round somehow.

  12. Round 10

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

So, so, simple for Fury. The fight is over as a contest. The referee is looking closely as Chisora fails to throw anything..

  13. Get involved

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Sam Heaton: I think Anthony Joshua would beat both of them easily.

Karl: Fury has dominated from the first bell, Chisora just hasn't turned up. Routine training session for Tyson.

Daniel James Rudden: Get Mickey Rourke in there! He would make this a much more interesting fight than this imminent Fury win.

  14. Round 10

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

There is only about one third of the crowd left as Chisora continues to labour into the tenth round...

  15. Round nine

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chisora's corner: "I want you to stay tight, I want you to push him around. Come on, man. It's now or never. No regrets tomorrow morning. No crying tomorrow."

  16. Round nine

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Credit to Chisora. He attempts a couple of big right handers but they are wild and nowhere near Fury. Blood from the nose, the mouth and his eyes are almost closed. Time to pull him out?

  17. Round nine

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury predicted he was going to win every round and it looks like he was right. Chisora is now bleeding from the mouth as five jabs in a row knock him back. Fury looks happy to win this points rather than going for the knockout. Chisora's face is swollen, his eyes puffed and a stoppage might not be far away.

  18. Round eight

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Fury's corner: "You're relaxed, just catching him. Deep breaths. Listen, you're catching him straight down the pipe. Just keep turning him like you're doing. You'll soon see his legs buckle and he won't last long."

Chisora's corner: "Where's's that zip, man? I need to see some zip. Look sharp. Come on, man."

  19. Round eight

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

There is no real response though as Fury continues to pepper Chisora with his jab. Switching from orthodox to Southpaw, it is so, so easy for Fury. More jeers as the bell goes.

  20. Round eight

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

A left hook moves Chisora back again. Delboy is yet to be really hurt by Fury's shots but that won't stop him from being a mile behind on the judges scorecards. Fury looks to be in sparring mode. The referee pulls them together and is asking for more action.

  21. Get involved #bbcboxing

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Andy Kay: Anthony Joshua will destroy either of these two.

Ian Lindsay: I think Lennox Lewis at the age of 50 would still beat both of these guys...

  22. Post update

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chris McKenna for the Daily Star: Not great so far. Fury doing the better work off the jab. Ring card girls were having a snooze a minute ago

Ron Lewis of the Times: Fury incredibly effective as a southpaw.

James Robson from the Manchester Evening News: If Fury carries on like this, he can make the fight as easy as he wants. All depends on if he wants some excitement.

  23. Round seven

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

A few are leaving their seats and heading for the exits. They have seen enough. Chisora is looking a damaged man, physically and mentally. Fury jabs with his left and right and Chisora looks a beaten man. More jeers from the stands but they can't be aimed at Fury. A left hook lands flush on Chisora's chin. Out boxed and out fought, surely there is no way back for Chisora? Will the Mancunian go for the stoppage?

  24. Round six

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chisora's corner: "Do you want to be in this? Well, get a move on. He's just slapping you. You've fought people with better jabs than his. Switch on! That was round six, just gone. Use your feet, baby. Sip your drink..."

  25. Round six

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora

Chisora has no answer to Fury's Southpaw stance. It wasn't expected and has completely baffled him. More jeers as Fury jabs his way through the round. Fury is boxing well but Chisora's efforts so far are pretty poor.

  26. Get involved #bbcboxing

Andy Peck: Come back David Haye! I'm having to watch these two dreadful boxers...

Gordon MacPherson: I can't wait until Anthony Joshua pastes either of these bums!

  27. Round six

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Chisora thinks he has problems with his left eye. A sign he is far from happy? His corner tell him he is fine but this is one sided well into the sixth.

  28. Round five

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chisora's corner: "Give him some water. Spit. Listen, Fury is nicking the rounds. I don't want to have to rely on stopping this guy to win. He's peppering you with jabs and it's looking good. Get your rhythm, don't be flat in front of this guy. Where's your beautiful footwork? Throw single jab, then double jabs, and good things will come of it."

  29. Round five

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Does Chisora have any answer? Not at the moment. He looks so sluggish as Fury's height and strength see him dominate. A sell-out Excel is not impressed either as jeers greet the bell. They haven't waited this long for this...

  30. Round five

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury

Fury is loving this. His left uppercut is looking a dangerous weapon as Chisora is again hit. Chisora is just walking on to hits at the moment and Fury looks so composed. One minute 30 to go in the fifth round.

  31. Round four

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

    Fury's corner: "He's hurt now."

Chisora's corner: "You keep falling on top of him..."

  32. Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Former world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis on Twitter: Chisora needs to bang the body in close! Soften the body up and then go to the head!

  33. Round four

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Fury continues to lead with his right and lands well with his right. A left hook thrown and on target by Tyson. Chisora throws a wild right as he moves closer but yet to land. A couple of jabs before a left uppercut catches the advancing Chisora. Nice left turns Chisora onto the ropes as the latter gets out boxed. Chisora has no answer as he gets caught again on his way forward. A slight blemish to Chisora's face is showing now.

  34. Round three

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Fury's corner: "Get a little bit lighter on your feet. Lighten up with your shots - you keep trying to land a bomb. He's got nothing about him. There are no jabs, nothing. Play with him like a cat playing with a ball, and he'll just walk into trouble. Confuse him, yeah? Understand?"

  35. Get involved

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Cam Melling:. Hope it's worth the wait and Fury gets the win.

Chiangmai Si: Just on 7.40am in Bangkok reading the live updates on BBC sport. I'm hoping Del Boy can stop Fury.

  36. Round three

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Jab, jab by Fury as he keeps Chisora at arms length. Finally the smaller man lands with a right though, his best shot of the evening. Back to the jabs for Fury followed by a body shot. Delboy can't get close. No one expected Fury to take this southpaw stance, certainly not Chisora, and it is proving a tactical master class so far.

  37. Round two

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Chisora's corner: "How are you feeling? Spit. Talk to me. What's wrong with you? Listen, you're handing it to him on a plate. Are you hearing me? Use your feet and box naturally. Get working and give him angles. Don't just walk in straight, and work away with your jab. Be in the centre of the ring and don't back off from this guy. You understand?"

  38. Round two

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Fury looks to keep Chisora away with his jab and, with his 11 inch reach advantage, Chisora struggles to get close. The big man raises both hands in some early showboating. A right uppercut landed by Fury as well as he controls the early stages. A big right landed by Fury followed by a shuddering uppercut. Chisora has to get closer as he gets caught again. Fury in control as he surprisingly leads with his right at times. Chisora is looking leaden-footed.

  39. Round one

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Chisora's corner: "You've got good boxing and you've got good feet. Use it, OK? You can box, and you know you can box. Good boy."

  40. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Anyone wondering what Fury has on his shorts?

He has Prince on the front of his shorts waistband and Venezuela on the back. They're the names of his two children. Nice touch...

  41. Round one

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury towers above Dereck Chisora. A shuddering left jolts Chisora back before a body shot is landed by the taller man. Chisora has to get inside Fury's huge reach advantage but easier said than done. He does land with a couple of body shots but gets caught as he attempts to come inside. Lovely shot by Fury as Chisora bobs and weaves as he keeps coming forward.

  42. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Here we go then. Fight on.

  43. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Chris McKenna for the Daily Star on Twitter: Weird feeling now. This is like the one after the main event. Needs to start fast to keep the crowd interested. Few have left for last train.

  44. Get involved #bbcboxing

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Colin Grossman: Barry White and Coldplay? Least likely entrance music for a heavyweight title fight?

Carl Carlos: Great result, Saunders. Now, let's have Delboy KO Fury.

  45. Pundits' Predictions

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Former world champion Barry McGuigan on Twitter: Fury beats Chisora more convincingly this time, the referee might have to stop the contest late on.

  46. Talking the talk

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Chisora Fury

Fury and Chisora exchanged heated words as Fury tipped the scales more than 20lb heavier than his rival, albeit with a tracksuit on.

He refused to shake Chisora's hand as the Londoner said: "You're 6ft 9in but tomorrow night you'll be 5ft 5in."

Fury replied: "I've beaten you once, now I'm going to knock you out."

Both can talk the talk but who is going to walk the walk? We are about to find out.

  47. Win or bust

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Chisora v Fury

Surely this is win or bust for both fighters in their quest for world title glory.

And both have already shown they have the heart for the battle.

Since their last fight, Fury has been dropped twice, but has got up to win six of those by stoppage, and once on points.

Chisora showed his sheer grit by going through 12 rounds with WBC champion Vitali Klitschko, taking shots, but never a backward step. This could become a slug fest.

  48. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Coldplay's 'When I Ruled The World' is the ringwalk tune for Chisora, dressed in a Union Jack cloak.

So when did you rule the world then Delboy?

  49. Beard or no beard?

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Tyson Fury

The big question in the build-up to this grudge match was beard or no beard?

Tyson Fury's rather impressive facial hair attracts plenty of attention and the Mancunian held a vote on his Twitter account as to whether it should stay on for this evening.

The answer? The beard was staying according to his Twitter account... but since then he has been told by Boxing Board of Control to shave it off. He is clean shaven.

  50. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury comes into the ring to Barry White's You're the First, the Last, My Everything. Nice choice.

  51. Time to leave?

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

The heavyweights begin their ring walk.

For anyone at Excel taking the train this evening though, time to leave? The last train from the Docklands Light Railway leaves in five minutes.

Surely you wouldn't leave now though? Would you?

  52. Post update

    Tyson Fury v Dereck Chisora

Billy Joe Saunders celebrates defeating Chris Eubank Junior

Andy Murray, former Wimbledon champion: Congrats to Saunders on the win and bad luck to Eubank. Fun to watch and both showed class at the end. Think we will see that fight again in the future! Now, Fury or Chisora?

  53. Del boy looking to upset the odds

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

    Dereck Chisora

Dereck Chisora is the underdog with the bookies for a reason.

He may have won 20 of his 24 fights - with 13 coming via KO - but he has also suffered some big defeats.

His four losses came in the space of 12 months from June 2011 to 2012 and started against Fury. The likes of David Haye and Vitali Klitscho have beaten Chisora, although he has won his last five bouts.

His most recent came back in February with a points success over Kevin Johnson.

  54. Fury's unbeaten record

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury comes into the bout with an undefeated record from 22 fights.

As many as 14 fights have been stopped or decided by knockout, including the last time he took to the ring against Joey Abell in February.

He also knocked out Steve Cunningham in New York last April although some feel he is yet to test himself against an elite opponent.

Fury defeated Chisora by a wide, unanimous points decision first time around, but that was more than three years ago. He has only fought twice in two years.

  55. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Billy Joe Saunders reacts in the ring: "Fair play to Eubank. He had a good workrate but it was a bit too slow in the early rounds and I felt like he was going to push me on the last six, but I boxed well.

"I'm only 25, he's only 25 so we've got plenty more to learn. But next stop for me is for the WBO title. I'm ready for a world title. And when I get the world title, I'll give him the first shot.

"My Dad, over there, this belt is his Christmas present. He's always wanted a belt. So Merry Christmas, Dad."

  56. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

  57. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Ash Jung: Eubank Jr may be a beast, but Billy Joe Saunders is a boxer!

Henry Withrington: Saunders won clearly. To blame? Eubank's corne. His dad seemed more focused on how he looked on camera than instructing his son!

  58. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank Jnr reacts in the ring: "It was a close fight. I felt like I won most of the second half of the fight if not all of it. He's got a good engine, but I'll be back in the gym tomorrow. This isn't the end. Hopefully we can have a rematch asap. I felt like I won the fight but congrats to him.

"He did what I thought he would do. He boxed to plan in the early rounds but then I thought I overtook him. But I'll be back."

  59. Post update

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Not a bad starter eh? Don't forget we still have the heavyweight contest between Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora to come. It has a lot to live up to...

  60. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

The judges had it 115-114 Saunders, 116-113 Eubank Jnr and 115-113 Saunders.

  61. Billy Joe Saunders wins

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank's corner do not look happy but Billy Joe Saunders takes it on a split decision and retains his British, European and Commonwealth titles. What a finish by Eubank, he has shown he can compete at this level but credit Billy Joe. His superior boxing skills just about dragged him through.

  62. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Billy Joe Saunders is being carried on the shoulders of his people. He certainly dominated the opening stages but Eubank's strong, strong finish makes this very close for me.

  63. Round 12

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank jnr and Billy Joe Saunders

Saunders reacts with a couple of shots of his own but it doesn't stop Eubank coming forward. A left uppercut landed in an exchange by Eubank and Billy Joe looks hurt. A warning for use of elbow for Eubank as he comes again. Punch, punch, punch, it is all Eubank. Fight over and this is too close to call. Both raise their hands.

  64. Round 12

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

This is sheer aggression. Eubank is just coming forward and throwing everything he has. It is wild stuff but he is landing as well. Billy Joe is looking shattered with just under two minutes left.

  65. Round 11

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank looks strong. He is swinging for fun now, although is missing as much as he lands. Saunders is doing little as an attacking force but can Eubank take advantage? He again leaps towards Saunders as he throws a couple of rights. Two uppercuts landed by Eubank but Saunders refuses to be daunted and hits back with a shot of his own. Desperate stuff from Eubank as he looks for that knockout punch. One round to go and this is close for me.

  66. Get involved #bbcboxing

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Tim Hague BBC: Eubank Jr and Snr were very confident when we met last week for our feature. A lot more nervous now. But it's boxing, you never know.

Steve Holden: I just wonder whether Eubank Snr's presence is actually detrimental to his son's progress...

  67. Round 10

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank's corner: "You've got to stop him, mate. You've got two rounds and you've got to stop him, I'm telling you. You've got to throw more shots. Waken up, you've got to stop him. Win the fight. Bring the fight to him now. Relax and keep your head."

  68. Round 10

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank keeps coming forward and lands with a huge left hand. Saunders is holding on here and Eubank keeps coming. Bell goes after a big last 30 seconds for the challenger. A huge last two rounds left.

  69. Round 10

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

The chatter continues from Eubank. He looks confident and lands with a left to the face. Jabs are exchanged before referee Michael Alexander is forced to separate their clinch. Billy Joe hits back with a right of his own with a minute of the round to go.

  70. Get involved #bbcboxing

Robin Bray: Come on Billy Joe, show the country what you're made of!

Ritchie: Seriously, is there any point in Eubank having anyone in his corner?

  71. Round nine

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Saunders' corner: "Breathe deep. You got yourself back in there, just about. Make him punch fresh air. Come on Joe! You've got to pull this out in the last three rounds, otherwise he's going to win. Make him miss, make him miss! If you're nice and compact he'll fall into you."

  72. Round nine

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank Jnr has never been this far in his career but he is looking the stronger. Saunders is trapped on the ropes as Eubank lets fly. Not everything lands as he throws punch after punch but he is the more proactive boxer once more. Saunders looks a tired man as Eubank continues to work well on the inside. Saunders hits back with a good solid right hand and lands again as Eubank leaves himself exposed after a desperate missed right. Eubank hits back as Saunders is caught by a big, big hit. Blood flowing from Saunders' nose as the bell goes. Some big hits from both boxers landed.

  73. Round eight

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank's corner: "You're landing your jab. Plant your feet then start moving around."

  74. Round eight

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank is forcing Saunders back. A few punches being landed on Billy Joe now as he looks a tad tired. A good combination of punches thrown by Eubank with Saunders forced back on the ropes. Another shot landed as Billy Joe is again forced back. Saunders's jab is looking less and less effective as this fight goes on. Eubank is well in this now.

  75. Round seven

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

    Chris Eubank senior and junior

Eubank's corner: "You got to stop him now. Bring the fight to him, because once you start landing you really will land. Push it."

  76. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Former world champion Barry McGuigan on Twitter: First round for Eubank. Four to Saunders. One even and one to Eubank.

  77. Round seven

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank is trying to get closer to his man to make this more of a scrap. As he gets inside, he looks far more dangerous. A warning for Eubank for hitting as they break but it is much quicker and better stuff from him. Eubank walks onto a right hand but smiles as if to say 'is that all you have Joe'. Saunders has Eubank on the ropes again but misses with a flurry of punches. Billy Joe is getting dragged into a scrap here and that suits Eubank.

  78. Round six

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jr.

Eubank's corner: "Get him out of there. What's the matter with you? You've got every punch. Step on him now. Bring the fight to him. Throw those punches."

  79. Get involved #bbcboxing

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jr.

Alan Pierce: Chris Eubank Snr is a legend!

Justin Tense: Sounds like this fight is all one-way traffic from Saunders. Has Eubank Jr inherited the KO power from his dad?

  80. Round six

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Better from Eubank as he comes forward and lands a body shot. A couple of right upper cuts landed by him as well as he gets closer to Saunders. A left hand thrown by Eubank but Saunders retaliates with one of his own. Eubank ducks and dives as Saunders comes at him on the ropes. Good evasive action. Both land solid shots to the head as the fight starts to come to life. That was a tight round.

  81. Round five

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jr.

Saunders' corner: "When you're jabbing, you've just got to go ping or bing. A left uppercut. It's just finding the right time to do it. He's getting desperate now, and when he's jumping in he's vulnerable to the left cross. And he's punching fresh air."

  82. Post update

  83. Round five

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank Junior (left) in action against Billy Joe Saunders

Eubank is trying to disrupt Saunders by chatting to him during the round. He needs to do something to upset his rival but Saunders doesn't look interested in getting involved in any of that nonsense. Billy Joe's jab just keeps coming and Eubank Jnr is looking frustrated. Has the challenger won a round yet? Not by my reckoning.

  84. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jr.

WBA world super-bantamweight world champion Scott Quigg on Twitter: Jab from Saunders is controlling this fight, distance is key making Chris Eubank Jr. fall short and clumsy Eubank looking lost for ideas.

  85. Round four

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank Junior sits in his corner, over seen by his father Chris Eubank

Eubank's corner: "Get some ice! That was better. Come forward behind your jab. You've got to get close, OK? And start pressing him down. Beat him up. Start bashing him up, mate. Alright? Start beating him up."

  86. Round four

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

A couple of upper cuts landed by Eubank as he looks to get off the ropes. Little happening for him though as Saunders controls the fight with his right hand jab. A right uppercut moves Saunders' head back but it appears to have little effect. Saunders looking far more controlled in the opening rounds.

  87. Round three

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Saunders' corner: "Can we have a towel here, please? Looking good, Joe. When he jumps in don't you jump in, because he's looking to unload his right hand. But keep kidding him. Perfect. Well done, Joe. Concentration Joe, all the time. He's getting a bit concerned now. You can see it on his face."

  88. Round three

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank misses with a big right. All a bit scruffy from the man from Sussex. Saunders sticks with his jab and lands another one flush on the chin. A boxing lesson from Billy Joe so far but still early days. Eubank now on the ropes and looking bemused by what is happening to him. A left hook finally landed by Eubank as the round comes to an end. A few words exchanged before they retreat to their corner.

  89. Post update

    Round two

Saunders' corner: "Nice and patient behind your jab. Little bit of kidding then snap. Kidding, snap, then crack. You're looking good, Joe son."

Eubank's corner: "Relax and move forward, and keep putting the pressure on. Slow pressure. Get behind your jab."

  90. Round two

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

A cautious opening to the second round. Saunders's fast hands causing Eubank a few problems as the latter struggles to make an impact. Jab, jab, jab, Saunders is enjoying himself. Another jab as the Olympian continues to come forward. Eubank recognises a right hand landing with a nod but is unable to react. Another good round for Saunders.

  91. Round one

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Saunders' corner: "How do you feel? You're looking good. Beautiful."

Eubank's corner: "When you set down make sure your legs are bent and then let go. Threes and fours."

Paul Smith Jr, British super-middleweight champion: Billy Joe wearing a pair of Winning gloves. I wore them once after a hand break. They're like pillows. Filled with sponge. In bubble wrap.

  94. Round one

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

An even start as Billy Joe Saunders looks to get his jab going early on. Chris Eubank Jnr is looking to counter attack but is being made to miss. Saunders looks composed as he ignores his rival's posturing. A good right by Saunders lands but Eubank suddenly switches to the front foot and momentarily gets Saunders on the ropes. A good round by Saunders.

  95. Post update

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

They are under way. This has to be Billy Joe Saunders's biggest test so far in his career, while the same can be said for Chris Eubank Jnr. There is a lot at stake here.

John: Billy Joe Saunders has the big-fight experience. Eubank Jnr has the raw talent and family name. Should be a great fight no matter which way it goes.

James: Big fight between Eubank Jr and Billy Joe Saunders tonight. Worthy of a larger venue in my opinion. I think Eubank Jr is going to win and, like Mayweather, dominate for years to come.

  97. Pundits' Predictions

World super-middleweight title challenger Paul Smith on Twitter: For those asking, I've bet on Billy Joe Saunders to win on points. But, for me this could go Eubank's way by stoppage & I won't be surprised

  98. Eubank sr back in limelight

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

    This, you have to see.

As he talks about his son's potential, Chris Eubank Sr somehow ends up reciting Rudyard Kipling's poem 'If', from start to finish.

The former middleweight and super-middleweight world champion is seemingly enjoying being back in the limelight.

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Eubank certainly got a mixed reaction from the crowd as he entered the ring to Dr Dre & Snoop Doggy Dog's Still Dre.

Billy Joe Saunders is now in the arena to Run This Town by Rihanna. A far more low-key entrance than that of his his opponent.

    Here they come.

Chris Eubank enters the arena to a raucous packed 18,500 crowd.

He leaps over the ropes, as his dad famously did. Can he live up to the hype?

  102. Collins on Eubank

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

Steve Collins, who beat Chris Eubank senior twice in the 90's, has spoken to BBC World about several subjects.

On pressure on Chris Eubank jnr to live up to his Dad's achievements? "It's unfair for the young man, the comparisons that have been made to his dad, but it's also an advantage because he is getting TV time, he is getting radio time and he has a father speaking on his behalf. The way Chris Eubank senior speaks is a promoters dream.

On Chris Eubank vaulting the ropes and coming into the ring with same music as his dad: "His son still has to go out and produce the goods. Chris Eubank getting on the radio and television talking him up like he is the most dangerous thing that ever put gloves on, it all sounds very good. But there is a lot of pressure on the young man and he's got to back it up."

  103. Like father like son

    Steve Collins

Chris Eubank isn't the only former world champion to have a son in action this evening.

Steve Collins Jnr is fighting Mareks Kovalevskis in an international cruiserweight contest.

Remember his dad Steve? Of course you do. The Irishman known as "The Celtic Warrior" is the former WBO middleweight and super-middleweight champion.

Michael Kennoy: Eubank Jr. by KO in the 7th and Fury to win on points.

Henry Withrington: Predicting Eubank to win by KO, too much of a beast. Tyson Fury to win via horrendously boring unanimous decision.

Brad Westlake: Going to be a late night. I'm backing Chris Eubank Jr all the way for a KO. And Chisora by KO.

  112. Pundits' Predictions

Don't forget the two big fights this evening are still to come.

Billy Joe Saunders vs Chris Eubank Jnr is next in the ring - once Frankie Gavin and Bradley Skeete have finished their bout. They are halfway through round nine, with Gavin probably just about on top. It is close though.

Here are some of the thoughts from the journalists at ringside in London's Excel:

Gareth A Davies wrote in his Daily Telegraph column this week: Tyson Fury to win on points or by late stoppage.

Ron Lewis wrote on Twitter: I am going for Fury and Saunders on points.

Chris McKenna on Twitter for the Daily Star: Pick for the big fights this weekend. Fury by late stoppage against Chisora. Eubank Jr on points v Saunders.

  127. Billy Joe predicts fireworks

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

    Billy Joe Saunders

Chris Eubank Jnr may have taken a lot of the headlines - the perk of having a charismatic, famous dad - but Billy Joe Saunders is no mug. Far from it.

The 25-year-old represented Great Britain at Beijing 2008 and has won all 20 of his fights since turning professional the following year.

"I'm feeling great, the best I've ever been in my career," he said. "My weight is perfect. I'm just where I want to be.

"Everything has been done in training camp and I've left no stone unturned. I couldn't have done any more and now it's all on the line on Saturday night - there's going to be fireworks."

  128. 'The most dangerous boxer on the planet'

Billy Joe Saunders v Chris Eubank Jnr

    Chris Eubank Jnr

Chris Eubank Sr claims his son is the most talented boxer since Sugar Ray Leonard.

Brighton's Eubank Jr challenges for Billy Joe Saunders' British, European and Commonwealth middleweight titles.

"The last person who had this ability was Sugar Ray Leonard," said Eubank Sr. "My son is the most dangerous young man I've ever come across in boxing, the most dangerous fighter on the planet.

"I was the benchmark, I was the beacon, I was the one everyone was measured against. And I can't even measure him against me. I have never seen anything like him. The great British public has a great journey in front of them over the next 10 years."

  129. Gavin in control

Not much going on in the ring as the fight between Frankie Gavin and Bradley Skeete for the British and Commonwealth welterweight title fails to set alight after three rounds.

Gavin looks in control but no sign of any early stoppage here.

  130. David v Goliath?

    Dereck Chisora v Tyson Fury

Physically, this is a little bit like David vs Goliath.

At 6ft 9in, Tyson Fury possesses an 11in reach advantage over 6ft 1in Chisora.

"I am trying to be a different person, a better person and with the help of God I will - this is the new me," said Fury.

"I'm not interested one bit if people take me seriously as a boxer, I could not give a hoot. It doesn't matter to me what people think of me as long as I get paid, and as long I win good fights, I'm happy."
