    Round 1

David Haye is peppering out the left jabs and then looking to follow it up with a meaty right. And one of those rights lands in the last 20 seconds of the opening round. Both men hold back though. Close opener, maybe Haye's with the lead.

How have the injuries affected Haye. Biceps, shoulders, Achilles. They have all been injured in the last couple of years for the Londoner. Early signs are he looks sharp.

Chris Broadbent: I’m going for same result at first time round, Bellew in 11. Bellew’s stamina and ring intelligence to nullify Haye’s power and questionable fitness.

David Haye, meanwhile, is prowling around the ring, with massive headphones on. Not too sure why, he would have heard his fans cheering for him if he had taken the headphones off.

  15. Bellew's turnpublished at 22:35 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

We now see Tony Bellew, taunting Haye via the big screens with a pre-recorded video.

"He failed miserably and he can't accept I beat him. I'm just a determined horrible man when I get in that boxing ring," he says.

Boos ring out around the O2. We are in London tonight, Haye's city. The Liverpudlian is very much the away fighter here as Everton's iconic Z-Cars theme blares out around the arena.

"Ain't no stopping us now," that is the signature tune for David Haye to make his way into the ring.

This is a make-or-break night for the former two weight world champion. A defeat and there would be nowhere for him to go, other than retirement, of course.

A win, and if it is a spectacular one, you never know and we could be talking of him against Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua in a couple of years' time.

A strange atmosphere in the O2 Arena. Sweet Caroline plays out and gets its usual interaction from the crowd but there's a weird fog over the place.

Is it people on edge for what is a bout many are finding hard to call?

Robbie Savage is ringside and is asking BBC Radio 5 live's Steve Bunce for every insight he can get as to how this will go.

Savage is as animated as anyone in here. As the fighters get ready to walk to the ring, surely things will liven up a touch...

"We will remember you for your fantastic nights but this will not be one of them," Tony Bellew, 35, told Haye.

"There will be no rematch David, we will just close the curtain on you.

"You are going to have to do things that you don't want to do. I promise you, I swear, you are going to have to go to those places."

  20. 'The worst finish to any career'published at 22:29 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

"Everything is on the line here, my reputation, my whole soul," says David Haye.

Wearing a cap emblazoned with the word 'revenge' on Thursday, Haye added: "My last fight was a stoppage loss. For me that is the worst finish to any career and it would put a big smudge over my resume.

"It would feel like I have undone all the great fights I have had over the years. I will not allow him to win."
