    Your predictions for tonight

F1fan2011: I just don't see how Bellew can take much credit for the last fight after round six. Haye ruptured his Achilles in round six and boxed one-legged for six rounds until his corner threw the towel in. Haye was ahead on the official scorecards. The way Bellew has crowed on you would think he spectacularly KOd a fully fit Haye. I see this going to points and a pretty wide points win for Haye.

Finlay: Bellew to win on points! Haye to retire.

SportGuru: Haye is over the hill, Bellew isn’t far behind, it’s a fight about money, nothing wrong with that but hopefully Haye gets beaten and fades away. With Bellew not too far behind him, one or two more fights at most.

“He would leave boxing tomorrow if he could get some work on the celebrity circuit. I want this so bad, more than I’ve ever wanted anything in this sport.”

Tony Bellew’s lengthy interview in the £10 souvenir programme touches on all manner of things, including his brother-in-law’s death last August.

He also points to this being his longest spell out of the ring - 14 months.

He says: “Am I angry at the amount of time I’ve had out of the ring? Yes. I’ve prided myself on being a busy fighter all the way through.”

Will that have an impact? Ring rust can seize a fighter up on the big night. One to ponder...

You occasionally see random celebrities making a night of it at the boxing.

At the George Groves v Chris Eubank Jr fight earlier this year we had One Direction's Liam Payne walk in with former Team GB heptathlete Denise Lewis. That one seemed pretty random at the time.

Here tonight, Robbie Savage, Kirsty Gallacher and MP Andy Burnham have just plodded in as a trio. They are chatting away and once again, I'm wondering how their paths have crossed?

  5. Trainer corrects Haye's 'biomechanics'published at 22:19 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

"I found David Haye has so much ability and talent but he was using it in a bad way," trainer Ismael Salas told BBC Sport. "He grew such confidence in his power that he lost lots of the technical ability he has.

"I look not so much at the punch but at the feet - any good building has a good basement. His right foot opened up like a duck, so his knee and his hip did too, so the power breaks down.

"I told him my work would not be like a trainer but in biomechanics, so I will correct it and then you use your own talent."

I am edging ever closer to it being an intriguing chess match.

Haye might just do what everyone says he can't do and take his time for five or six rounds before stepping it up. I just fancy Haye on points.

  7. 'Anything can happen'published at 22:12 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Rio 2016 bronze medallist Joshua Buatsi, who won on the undercard, says: "I always go with activity levels.

"Bellew has been a lot more active so I will lean towards him. Haye is a world-class fighter and this is one where you can't blink because anything can happen. "

  8. Hearn expects tonight to be the end of Haye's careerpublished at 22:11 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Tony Bellew's promoter Eddie Hearn said: "Bellew was a huge underdog first time, now the bookies can't split them. I'm not sure I've been more confident going into a 50-50 fight.

"It's a wonderful career Haye has had but I believe it ends on Saturday night and Tony Bellew goes on to get the credit he deserves."

  9. 'This is about pride'published at 22:10 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Richard Schaefer - part of Haye's promotional team said: "Some fights are made for money, some for titles and some for pride.

"This is one of those for pride. As fight fans, you are always in for a treat when you see a fight made for pride."

Jon, Ali and Sean offer up a conundrum.

They aren’t fans of Tony Bellew’s personality and yet say David Haye’s isn’t great either. So the debate rages as to which man is the bigger frustration.

Personality aside, they all side with Haye tonight. Jon and Sean say points, while Ali in the middle Plumpts for a fourth-round knockout.

As they say, that first fight saw Haye 4-1 up on rounds when injury struck. They also explain they “love” BBC Sport boxing commentator Mike Costello and agree with him that Bellew was tiring after halfway last time. That view is one which has been largely overlooked.

  11. 'Haye looked a shell of himself'published at 22:06 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

Former British and European middleweight champion Matthew Macklin: "When they first fought I didn't give Bellew a 5% chance. But even before his injury, I thought Haye looked a shell of himself.

"I think he will be better mentally this time but I just think he's shot. He's injured and his timing is way out. The only way you get that back is with a lot of sparring and I highly doubt he has done a lot of sparring. Even at the media workout he looks like his legs have gone."

Canarsie: Bellew couldn't knock out Haye with a torn Achilles tendon for four rounds. Never gets mentioned in media. Bellew had to have the rematch, knows he did not win that fight. And he's not going to this time either.

U16054908: It all depends on Haye's physical condition. If his body does as Haye wants then he will win comfortably. However, only Haye and his team know whether the shoulder, Achilles and other bits of surgery and old father time have taken their toll. Neither however will do well again the 6'4+ 16st + hw contenders that dominate the division these days.

Mark, Adam, Dave and Peter serve up a split decision.

Firstly, hats off to them on being suited and booted. Still there are the old school gents like these who insist on wearing their Sunday best to the boxing. Good work fellas.

From left to right, Mark goes Bellew in round nine, Adam says a round earlier, Dave says ‘The Bomber’ on points and Peter is rogue, stating Haye in the sixth.

Outside there’s definitely a split in the air. What can you take from the first fight? We are all seemingly reading from blurry lines.

I can't get out of my mind those opening five rounds last time where on all three scorecards Haye was 4-1 up. That's why this time around I am siding with Haye.

What I also noticed last time was that Haye warmed to the task.

In the fifth round he began to show his class, throwing jabs to the body, head, varying his attacks. He started to look like he was enjoying it. There is no doubt, for a man so rusty, he was beginning to get the feel of it.

    Who is ringside?

Anthony Joshua, Carl Froch, Amir Khan, Paulie Malignaggi.

Oh and Jay from the Inbetweeners.

As some of you will know, he attended a press conference this week and handed a briefcase to Adam Moralee - David Haye’s manager.

Moralee has been teased by Tony Bellew for looking very much like Will from the Inbetweeners.

It’s a long-winded gag but has scored Jay (actor James Buckley) some free tickets.

  19. Joshua tips Bellewpublished at 21:50 British Summer Time 5 May 2018

    What are the expects saying?

WBA, IBF and WBO world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua is the man at the top of the heavyweight game. He says: "I feel that Bellew will do it again. He has real confidence going into this fight. I can see that in him. He did it once and he believes he can do it again."

They’ve gone arty on the programme and why not? For my money, this is the last time these two men will meet in the ring.

You can guarantee someone mentions the word “trilogy” tonight but I just can’t see it happening.

A David Haye win will see him seek out heavyweights high up the rankings in pursuit of a title. He’s said that’s his aim. He won’t be hanging around to risk another fight with Bellew.

A Tony Bellew win makes it 2-0 and job done. He knows his last couple of fights - or maybe just one more - need to be at cruiserweight so he can compete to end his career with a title.

The only heavyweight I could see him in with his Tyson Fury. Bellew recently told the media Fury “can’t punch” in referencing his humble knockout rate. That would be some war of words.

Make no mistake though, for me, the Haye-Bellew war of words ends tonight.
