Up next at Elland Road is another Leeds star.

Two-time Olympic Games gold medallist Nicola Adams has won all three of her professional fights and could well be fighting for a world title next time out.

But those hopes will be in tatters if she fails to beat tough Argentine Soledad del Valle Frias, herself a three-time world champion contender.

  3. Not all stands in use tonightpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 19 May 2018

Now if Leeds United were to face Barry Town in a pre-season friendly, I think it's fair to conclude there might be an empty stand where the away fans should be.

That will not be the case tonight as Lee Selby says he has sold over £30,000 worth of tickets, but one stand does appear to be out of use tonight. So the crowd of up to 25,000 will be spread into three stands, in a ground with a capacity of 37,890.

Josh Warrington has said in the build-up to this contest that there will be three momentous events on 19 May. The Royal Wedding, the FA Cup final and Leeds celebrating a first ever world boxing champion.

A crowd of around 20,000 plus are expected. He will need all of that local fervour to help turn it his way as Lee Selby - making a fifth defence - starts as a huge bookmakers' favourite.

  5. Welcome along.published at 20:04 British Summer Time 19 May 2018

    Hello.

What a day it has been. Not only have we had a Royal Wedding, but also a couple of cup finals and now we have what promises to be a cracking tear-up between two British boxers for a world title. Great stuff.

I'm Michael Emons and will be guiding you through all the action tonight. It should be a good one.

  6. A dream come true for Warrington?published at 20:02 British Summer Time 19 May 2018

Tony Bellew (Everton) and Ricky Hatton (Manchester City) have done it - by winning massive fights at the stadiums of the football clubs they support.

For Kell Brook (Sheffield United) that dream did not go the way he hoped with a defeat and now Josh Warrington is hoping his dreams come true by winning a world title at Elland Road - the home of his beloved Leeds United.
