Hearn prefers Broner fightpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2021
There's plenty of talk about Conor Benn fighting the winner of Amir Khan v Kell Brook next but his promoter is not so sure.
Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn is convinced Brook and Khan will retire after their February fight date and is instead targeting a Broner for Benn.
He said: "To be honest I tried so hard to make the Benn v Khan fight, but I don't think either of those guys will continue in the sport after their fight next year.
"I look instead at a potential fight with Adrien Broner. It would be amazing to bring 'The Problem' to the UK in what would be a huge arena fight.
"We've seen recently though the danger of overlooking opponents and Conor must be completely focused on the test of Algieri."
Hearn had plenty to say in his latest column for BBC Sport, hailing Katie Taylor and giving the latest on Dillian Whyte's efforts to fight WBC champion Tyson Fury.
