Warrington is just teeing off on Wood, catching him with left and right - the only response Wood has is to complain to the referee that they are landing on the back of his head.
Referee Michael Alexander isn't interested - they look clean.
Wood tries to throw a left hook but it's telegraphed and some textbook counter-punching from Warrington follows as he dips down and comes up the middle.
We're midway through this contest and unless Warrington runs out of steam then Wood is going to need a knockout.

His timing has been exemplary so far, covering up when Wood steps in and then following the Nottingham man back the other way to strike on the counter.
Wood looks like he stumbles as Warrington clips him with the right. He quickly recovers but doesn't have much in terms of a response.

Wood is far to tentative and considered. He keeps throwing out a jab and waiting to see what to do next.
Warrington, though, keeps coming forward with pressure, landing multiple shots each time and there's swelling under the right eye of Wood.

"Calm and composed" was the message from Wood's corner between rounds.
Wood is traditionally an orthodox fighter but he switched to southpaw in round one and comes out in that stance again.
Warrington comes charging forward but Wood shows that composure and sinks a lovely left to the body.
Fair play to Wood, Warrington keeps flying forward but he isn't getting sucked into a brawl and wants to keep this at distance.

To say Warrington has come out swinging is an understatement.
He got an early warning for catcing Wood to the back of the head, which was through sheer over-enthusiasm I think.
Both men settled down as the round progressed however, it looks as evenly matched as expected.
