The wait to see Dan Azeez and Joshua Buatsi go at it for the chance to face WBA light-heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol goes on.

Just four days before they pair were set to square off, Azeez pulled out after suffering a back injury in training.

We're yet to get news on when the all-British fight will be rescheduled, but Azeez is keen to make sure it still happens at some point in the near future.

"It still hasn't sunk in," said Azeez. "I've never had to withdraw from a fight in my career before.

"I want to apologise to all the fans, especially those travelling to the fight.

"I am also extremely sorry to my opponent Joshua Buatsi, to my promoter and to everyone involved who has worked so hard on this date. I hope this fight can be rescheduled as soon as possible."

So, we are expecting Mikael Lawal and Isaac Chamberlain to get their contest under way at around 21:30 BST at York Hall - of course this could change depending on how the rest of the card flows.

In Liverpool, Jack Catterall and Jorge Linares should be making their walk to the ring at around 22:30.

We'll keep you posted as both cards unfold as to whether those timings move.

Welcome to a Saturday fight night from Liverpool.

Now, this is a main event which has divided opinion.

On recent form, it is not expected to be a highly competitive bout. You have Jack Catterall – a man unlucky not to win all four light-welterweight titles in a controversial points loss to Josh Taylor last year. Then you have Jorge Linares – a legend of the sport but coming off three straight defeats.

But boxing often throws up surprises and form goes out of the window. Linares insists he is here to spoil the party and “feels like a 20-year-old”.

With a world-title shot potentially next, all eyes will be on whether Catterall can avoid a slip up against the Venezuelan veteran.

    Welcome along!

We've got a double-header for you tonight as we keep an eye on cards taking place in London and Liverpool.

We were primed for an all-British fight between light-heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez in the capital - the winner was in line to earn a shot at WBA world champion Dmitry Bivol.

However, Azeez pulled out earlier this week with a back injury and the card has been moved from London's O2 to the more intimate York Hall.

It's still an all-British headliner with Mikael Lawal putting his British cruiserweight title on the line against Isaac Chamberlain.

Then, we turn our attention to Liverpool with Briton Jack Catterall facing Venezuelan Jorge Linares in a light-welterweight contest at M&S Bank Arena.

This should be fun, let's go!
