    Sauber are first up.

There's people banging drums with bright green glow sticks. No guesses on what the colour scheme will be.

    I can't lie, it's giving me goosebumps.

"We are united, we are ready" the voiceover says.

What can we expect from tonight’s F1 75 extravaganza?

Well, we know all 10 teams will gather together to show off their 2025 liveries. How those fresh designs will be modelled on stage, however, is still unknown.

Teams will come out in reverse championship order - so Sauber first, McLaren last - and will each get seven minutes to show us what they’ve got. The creative sky’s the limit - with F1’s approval, that is.

McLaren and Williams both launched their new cars at separate events at Silverstone last week with camo liveries that didn’t stray too far from the colour schemes we’ll likely see on display tonight.

There's a video tape of all the big moments that have happened over the 75 years of F1.

Drama, rivalries and glory, what a wonderful sport we all love.

Jack Whitehall is not holding himself back, he's come for everyone, drivers and the bosses!

Very much an entertaining start to the evening, everyone's laughing along so no hard feelings.

Next up, it's Lewis Hamilton the camera pans to and there is a loud cheer from the crowd.

I think the cheer for Charles Leclerc is a bit louder.

Right, mgk's segment is over and here is tonight's host Jack Whitehall!

The camera has panned to current champion Max Verstappen.

And he's just mentioned the tension between Verstappen and George Russell. Oh dear.

Here we go then. Each team has just flashed up on the screens. Who got the biggest cheer? Ferrari, Mercedes and McLaren - in that order.

The event will be hosted by British comedian and actor Jack Whitehall.

Each team will get their opportunity to come on stage and present their new liveries and driver line-up for 2025.

All 10 teams have been given the creative licence for their segments, so I expect them to be unique!

There will also be musical entertainment from country singer Kane Brown, mgk, composer Brian Tyler’s Are We Dreaming and British band Take That.

If you look to the right of the picture, you’ll see the sponsors of every team being wined and dined before the new season. The posh tables are flanking the giant catwalk, which I must say, looks very impressive.

Getting to my seat in the arena, my path was blocked by social media influencers filming content. They’re everywhere on site tonight.

Not long to go before the action kicks off at 20:00.

The drivers have been walking down the red carpet, taking selfies with fans.

    Here's George Russell looking dapper.

Very different to their usual team overalls.

The atmosphere is buzzing outside the arena.

Mia (left), Erin (centre) and Willow (right) laughed in the face of the chilly conditions and instead merrily snapped away without any coats on. I can confirm the girls were perished by the time I asked them for a photo.

Over at the Ferrari poster, Jessica (left) and Alice (right), who are originally from Italy but live in London, pledged their allegiance to the Scuderia’s Charles Leclerc, the tickets a Christmas gift for the other Italian member of their group.

We'll hear what the drivers have said in their news conferences throughout the evening.

Now, shall we have a look at the teams? There’s been some changes and new rookies to add to the mix.

  17. Up bright and earlypublished at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 18 February

BBC Sport Journalist at The O2 Arena

It’s been a beautifully crisp winter’s day here in London. And by that I mean it’s been freezing outside the O2; plenty of fans are milling around the arena wrapped up for Arctic conditions.

The main show begins at 20:00 GMT but the day actually started bright and early in a hotel conference room for nine of the teams.

With Ferrari launching their 2025 car tomorrow at a special event at Maranello, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc and Fred Vasseur have been absent from today’s schedule of news conferences, which began at 11am with Sauber and ended at 5:20pm with Red Bull.

That is a very sweet picture of Mercedes' Andrea Kimi Antonelli and George Russell on the red carpet.

It's like an older sibling walking in with their younger brother on their first day of school.

Everyone, all 10 teams and 20 drivers, will be attending to show off their new car designs.

They have all walked the red carpet and will be gearing up for tonight's show.

There will also be interviews with key people from the sport as well as entertainment.

    Sounds like a right party!

BBC Sport’s Lorraine McKenna (who has shared this picture with the team) is in the midst of all the action, we’ll be hearing from her soon!
