    Down v Meath (18:00 GMT)

Down produced a stunning comeback not once but twice to come away with a narrow 1-19 to 2-15 win over Cork in the Allianz Football League Division Two contest at Pairc Esler.

Pat Havern's two-point free in the closing stages snatched victory for the Mournemen who trailed by seven points at half-time.

Down dug deep, not conceding from the 55th minute onwards and landed a major from Danny Magill before Havern's late clincher.

  5. Half timepublished at 17:35 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-4 Galway 1-10

Derry were on the attack when the half-time hooter sounded. Still haven't quite got used to that rule 'enhancement'.

Galway are good value for their nine-point lead. They've controlled the opening half and played it on their terms.

Derry's confidence will have taken a further dent after this 35 minute display.

Paddy Tally has a job to do to rally his troops and get them believing there is still something there for them in this game.

  6. Postpublished at 17:35 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-4 Galway 1-10

Another big block by John Maher!

He's made a few crucial ones in this half close to his own goal.

Savage work-rate by him. He's scored 0-1 and made three important blocks. Man-of-the-match type stuff from him.

  7. Postpublished at 17:32 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-4 Galway 1-10

It hasn't been Shane McGuigan's night so far.

A two-point free drops well wide of Gleeson's left-hand post.

  8. Postpublished at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-4 Galway 1-10

That was a classic counter attack by Galway.

Derry goalkeeper Neil McNicholl's two-point attempt drops short into the hands of Connor Gleeson and Galway break up the field with Shane Walsh finishing the move.

  9. Postpublished at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-4 Galway 1-9

Paul Cassidy is keeping Derry in this game.

    That's another lovely point.

  10. Postpublished at 17:27 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-3 Galway 1-9

Shane Walsh taps over a simple free but it was almost a penalty after John Daly's superb pass to Tierney. It was touch and go whether the foul was inside the square.

Any of you watching at home, what's the verdict, was it a penalty?

  11. Postpublished at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-3 Galway 1-8

    Another two-pointer from Walsh!

He really has his eye in now. That shot was even more difficult than the first. He's giving Diarmuid Baker a torrid time in the last few minutes.

  12. Postpublished at 17:21 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-3 Galway 1-6

A two-pointer from Shane Walsh. He hit four of them against Mayo last time out.

It's really put some distance between the sides on the scoreboard.

  13. Postpublished at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-3 Galway 1-4

Galway have unearthed a new forward in Sam O'Neill and he reasserts Galway's control with a quality point.

  14. Postpublished at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-3 Galway 1-3

A quick transition by Derry who turned the ball over and a long ball in to Cassidy was gathered and he pivoted quickly to drill it over the bar.

  15. Postpublished at 17:18 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-2 Galway 1-3

Relief for Derry as Paul Cassidy judges that shot perfectly and splits the posts with his left-footed shot. Ends 16 minutes without a Derry score.

  16. Postpublished at 17:17 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-1 Galway 1-3

John Maher works hard to create space and a shooting angle for himself before curling one over from close range. Galway looking comfortable.

Neither side has attempted a two-pointer yet.

  17. Postpublished at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-1 Galway 1-2

Derry have not scored in 14 minutes. It's not like they're shooting wides, more that they're not getting shots away at all.

It's early days of course, but the Oak Leafers could do with making some impact in the game, and the scoreboard.

  18. Postpublished at 17:11 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-1 Galway 1-2

Matthew Tierney points his first score of the evening.

  19. goal

Goalpublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-1 Galway 1-1

    Dylan McHugh!

Paul Conroy ain't Footballer of the Year for nothing.

He waited and waited and threaded a superb hand pass through to McHugh, it took out two defenders and McHugh continued his run, burying the ball low through a few bodies into the net. Lovely goal.

  20. Postpublished at 17:04 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February

    Derry 0-1 Galway 0-1

A great block by John Maher on Conor Glass and after breaking down the field, Galway win a free which Cillian O Curraoin converts easily for the equaliser.
