Rain isn't forecast but there are indeed some dark clouds looming in the distance.

"Dark clouds in the distance over Turn 13."

McLaren are looking very strong here in all the sessions so far.

They certainly don't seem to be sweating too much with any regulations that are going on.

You might see Alex Albon and Ollie Bearman do some lap times on what look to be used tyres because the teams and engineers have made some very minor adjudgments between Q1 and Q2.

They want the drivers to do a lap so that they can see on the data exactly what that has changed, and whether they think it would be good to keep on the car for another new set of softs or whether they should go back to the original setup.

But Oscar Piastri continues his strong form as he crosses the line in 1:11.988 to fastest of all.

Fernando Alonso's last race win came at this circuit back in 2013. It's a track he has been pole at before back in 2006. I'm not sure if he's in the running for pole position this afternoon, but could he get another top six starting position? He has started fifth and sixth in the last two consecutive races.

And Lando Norris goes three tenths of a second quicker than Max Verstappen.

Oliver Bearman goes second quickest, half a second down on Alex Albon's time.

Max Verstappen is heading out now for a flying lap.

Franco Colapinto did a great job there. He has been struggling this weekend, but to get a great first lap in and quicker than his team-mate Pierre Gasly.

Heartbreak to have it taken away from a technical issue. We could hear his engine was on but when he seemed to rev it there was just no drive.

  14. Team radio - Albonpublished at 15:27 British Summer Time 31 May

Albon: "I don't understand why we're going so early."

Engineer: "It's better for this set of tyres. It's the same ones you just aborted the lap on."

No time to digest Q1 for too long as Q2 is under way!

So what on earth happened to Yuki Tsunoda to be so far off his team-mate? Did he have some damage?

What on earth happened there to Yuki Tsunoda? He was looking good on time and he will start 20th and last.
