Summary

    Derry v Westmeath - Pairc Esler, 19:00

So after Tyrone's win over Cork earlier today, it has increased the possibility of a Tyrone v Derry All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final in Healy Park, Omagh next weekend.

You can be sure that if Derry win tonight and end a three-game losing streak in the Championship to advance to the last 12 of the All-Ireland series, that is all the Derry and Tyrone fans will be talking about for the next 36 hours until the draw is made on Monday morning (0830).

Westmeath have been more impressive in their two defeats by Armagh and Galway than Derry, but the end result is the same. They have both lost both games so whoever wins tonight will guarantee an away preliminary quarter-final while the loser's summer is over.

Derry make two changes from their defeat by Armagh at Celtic Park two weeks ago.

Ciaran McFaul and Eoin McEvoy are recalled to the half-back line with Conor Doherty and Niall Toner dropping to the bench.

Westmeath make one change from the side that played so well but lost narrowly to Galway, with Luke Loughlin replacing Robbie Forde.

    Derry: O Lynch, C McCluskey, C McKaigue, D Baker, C McFaul, E McEvoy, D Gilmore; C Glass, B Rogers; E Doherty, E Bradley, P Cassidy; E Mulholland, S McGuigan, L Murray

    Westmeath: J Daly; J Gonoud, C Drumm, K Maguire; J Dolan, R Wallace, D Lynch; R Connellan, A McCormack; J Lynam, R O'Toole, S McCartan; L Loughlin, J Heslin, S Baker
