Karen Carney speaking to TNT Sports about the first-half: "The gulf you have seen between two teams is absolutely huge. This team is ridiculously good, but the defending from Chelsea has been shocking.

"Chelsea have gone toe-to-toe with Barcelona and shown that they are nowhere near. They are classier, technically and tactically better, the gulf is so much.

"Thank goodness it's half time, because their heads have gone. Sonia [Bompastor] has to pull them a little bit."

Maybe this is childish - but something we used to say when we are younger, it's 0-0 from half-time. You come back out and try to limit your opponent's opportunities.

It was working down this left hand side for Chelsea in moments. If you can get some rhythm and at least score a goal in the second half, you have to frame it in a positive from a players' perspective.

With Chelsea now requiring SIX goals to take this tie into extra time, you have to say their hopes of reaching the Women's Champions League final are slim to none.

Oh, dear. Chelsea are playing for pride now. This tie is well and truly over. The WSL leaders are being outclassed in front of their own fans.

Half-time at Stamford Bridge and it's fair to say the first 45 minutes couldn't have gone much worse for Chelsea.

Aitana Bonmati, Ewa Pajor, and Claudia Pina on the scoresheet for Barcelona, who now lead 7-1 on aggregate.

Only the most optimistic of Chelsea fans will think their quadruple hopes are still alive.

Mercifully for Chelsea, the fourth official signals just one minute of added time.

What a strike that was. Claudia Pina does so well at the edge of the area to cut inside and open the goal up, and the quality she has to shape it around the Chelsea defence. It is lovely play down the left hand side. You just don't want to let a player of Pina's quality shoot from those types of areas unopposed.

Barcelona make the pitch absolutely massive with Caroline Graham Hansen stretching the pitch nice and wide. They always look like they have so many passing options when they receive.

I'm also impressed by the off the ball work from the likes of Bonmati. It's evidence of her winning mentality and she always wants to be on the ball

Claudia Pina is fouled by Keira Walsh on the left to give Barcelona a freekick in a good position.

They slide the ball down the left to Fridolina Rolfo, who keeps finding herself unmarked, but this time she's gone a beat too early and is flagged for offside.

We're into the final 10 minutes of the first half.

Can Chelsea get a goal back before the break? It doesn't look very likely at the moment.

Four Chelsea attackers hound Barcelona's defenders on the edge of the box but they still manage to calmly get the ball back to Cata Coll and she hoofs it clear.

Barcelona are completely unfazed by anything Chelsea throw at them.
