Race leader Oscar Piastri and team-mate Lando Norris have just whizzed by once again at the banked Turn Three and from my vantage point up here, Norris is inching that bit closer to the Australian with every lap.

Carlos Sainz says he wants to go talk to the stewards about the penalty after the race.

Have to understand his frustration, it does seem unfair on him.

That is kind of the response I expected from Carlos Sainz, being a bit surprised on who the penalty was actually for. I think it was a really harsh penalty and he gave deserved space around the outside, a bit more than he was given.

I gave him a shout out but admittedly it was a while back with all that's gone on, but yes he's still doing superbly to hold on to fourth.

Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz is told of his 10-second penalty after that contact with Liam Lawson, and it is fair to say he's a bit surprised.

"That's the most ridiculous decision in my life," he says.

Kimi Antonelli is running a really great race at the moment, he started in P11 and is now up to P6.

He's currently four seconds behind Charles Leclerc, it is a bit of a strange call to swap the drivers around.

  17. Postpublished at Lap 43/72

Lance Stroll had a bit of a frustrating weekend up to race day but he's currently ninth, having gained 10 places in this race.

  18. Postpublished at Lap 42/72

More frustration for George Russell after taking on some damage in that earlier battle with Charles Leclerc.

He's told over the radio that because of the damage it might be best to "invert cars at Turn One."

"Sorry!?" is Russell's reply, but he complies as he gives up sixth to team-mate Kimi Antonelli, who was just behind him.
