[On Carlos Sainz' 10-second penalty] I think that was a bit strange. Liam Lawson definitely went off the racing line and went wide and it definitely is harsh for Carlos Sainz.

Fernando Alonso is definitely getting annoyed with Yuki Tsunoda and Oliver Bearman ahead of him. He might have briefly been excited to see Tsunoda think about a move on Bearman, but the Red Bull backs out of it.

[On if anything will come of the investigation between Charles Leclerc and George Russell] Unless Charles Leclerc's car was fully over the kerb on the inside...

George Russell did move under braking and didn't leave Leclerc enough room on the left, it was a very brave move saying that and there was contact made.

There then wasn't space left so it depends how the stewards are feeling today.

Fernando Alonso is asked how the balance of his car is, but Alonso has other concerns.

"I don't know!" he says. "You put me out in this traffic... I don't know!

"Let's undercut these people... let's do something."

He's 13th, behind Yuki Tsunoda and Oliver Bearman.

More rain on the way? Dark clouds are gathering again, as we can see in Lorraine's picture.

Looks like both McLarens will be in a race to the end here.

Lando Norris took a very low line at Turn Three on lap 31, almost giving Max Verstappen an opening, around the spot Lewis Hamilton had his off earlier. Norris survived any scare as the two peeled away from us, heading to Turn Four.

That was Charles Leclerc really laying his hammer down there, really showing what he's made of. That was really exciting stuff there.

Looking at replays, George Russell and Charles Leclerc were battling wheel-to-wheel at one point when Leclerc moved into fifth. Leclerc does look to have all four wheels off the track at one point, but did he gain an advantage?

Carlos Sainz was angry with Liam Lawson for the two colliding earlier BUT it is he who has been given a 10-second penalty for causing a collision.

George Russell had his focus on what Isack Hadjar doing but now he's been picked off by Charles Leclerc to move into fifth.

The Ferrari then defends superbly as Russell tries to fight back.

Lando Norris is told that the plan is for him to go to the end. So that's another 40 laps on the hards that are now eight laps old.

A marshal legs it onto the track at a quiet moment to pick up that piece of carbon fibre and the virtual safety car period is over.

The virtual safety car is deployed because there's some debris somewhere on the track.

Isack Hadjar is having to really absorb so much pressure from George Russell here.

"Moving under braking," George Russell says of Isack Hadjar as the two battle for fourth.

It was Liam Lawson who moved into Carlos Sainz as the two battled for position.

Out in front, Oscar Piastri is the fastest man on the track as he increases his lead to two seconds.

"He's just so stupid," fumes Carlos Sainz.

"This guy, it is always the same guy."

Carlos Sainz and Liam Lawson pit after that bit of contact. Lawson pops on some softs, Sainz has a front wing change.

Lando Norris wanting to take some notes from his race engineer as getting on those white lines can be very unforgiving here.

Especially in Turn Three, as soon as you're on that painted surface you just become a passenger.
