  2. 'Time is ticking down'published at 18:50 British Summer Time 26 April

    Barry Horne
Former Wales and Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

Time is ticking down and Wrexham's goal still hasn't been challenged this half.

Phil Parkinson will be looking at his bench to give his team a little bit of a lift and a little bit of know-how.

  3. Ryan and Rob watching onpublished at 60 mins

The noise keeps coming from all bar a small corner of the Stok Cae Ras.

US owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney watch on from their executive box. Surely they can't have imagined things would go this well when they took over the club?

Wrexham's rise - regardless of the financial backing - has been astonishing.

  4. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

A dangerous moment for Wrexham as Tennai Watson gets away down the right to a lovely ball over the top.

His low cross is towards sub Micah Mbick, but Ryan Cleworth gets there first and the ball loops up into the hands of Arthur Okonkwo.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 53 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

The first change of the game is from the visitors.

Centre-back Lloyd Jones goes off to be replaced by Micah Mbick.

Jones was an injury doubt beforehand so they will want him fit and firing for the play-offs, as things stand.

Pete: As a Charlton fan for 55 yrs an early goal would be great for the game and me!

Buckley: Lincoln were 2-0 up and lost 3-2 to Stockport. If Stockport can do it so can Charlton and as a Wrexham fan that’s my concern.

  7. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

The Championship is a different ball game with the relegated clubs and their parachute money, but I'm not sure Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton would relish a trip to the Stok Cae Ras.

This atmosphere, coupled with Wrexham's team, will make it awkward for everybody.

  8. 'Never doubt Nathan Jones and Charlton'published at 18:39 British Summer Time 26 April

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

    Simon Davies
    BBC Radio Wales commentator

A third goal may kill off Charlton.

But never doubt Nathan Jones and this Charlton side - for the first time he has left his technical area and taken a seat on the bench.

  9. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

Half a chance for Charlton as the ball drops in the area for Karoy Anderson but he slips at the crucial moment and his shot is blocked by a home shirt throwing his body in the way.

  10. Parkinson = promotionpublished at 48 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

If Wrexham get over the line this afternoon, that would be a sixth promotion as a manager for Phil Parkinson spread over two decades and with four different clubs.

Surely he must be one of the most under-rated managers in that period.

Parkinson knows what it takes to put together a successful team.

  11. SECOND HALFpublished at 46 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

We are ready to go for the sixth and final half of football in this mammoth penultimate Saturday of the EFL season.

Wrexham are 45 minutes away from what hell of a promotion party!

What do Charlton have to say about that?

Feels like Wrexham’s day. But, I’m hopeful they can get one quick after half-time and get back into the game! They didn’t look bad towards the end of the first half.

Phil, Charlton fan (and therefore a glutton for punishment)

Glorious viewing for those of a north Walian persuasion.

As things stand, Wycombe and Stockport, and Charlton can stand down. They are heading into the play-offs.

Seriously...why did anyone doubt this would happen at Wrexham? The speed of it, sure. But the eventuality?

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 26 April

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

Wrexham players celebrate a goalImage source, Rex Features

A glorious 45 minutes for Wrexham thanks to those goals from Ollie Rathbone and Sam Smith.

They are one half away from Championship football and a third successive promotion.

    All very Hollywood!

  16. Postpublished at 45+3 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

Charlton have actually been the better side in the last 10 minutes or so.

But of course Wrexham have that very nice cushion of a two-goal lead.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

We are playing four minutes more at the end of this first period.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 45 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

Wrexham right wing-back Ryan Longman is in the book for pulling down Josh Edwards as he tries to make a run for a Charlton attack.

  19. 'Charlton on the charge'published at 18:14 British Summer Time 26 April

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

    Barry Horne
Former Wales and Wrexham midfielder on BBC Radio Wales

If you walked into this game and you didn't know it was 2-0, you would say that Charlton were the ones on the charge in this game.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 42 mins

    Wrexham 2-0 Charlton

Tyreece Campbell is the first player in the book as he is a bit late in his challenge to close down a clearance from Ryan Longman.

Few complaints really and always a yellow card for a visiting player!
