    Tyrone are relegated to Division Two, despite beating Dublin after Mayo edged out Donegal and Galway beat Kerry.

    Derry, who have already been relegated, suffered a heavy defeat against All-Ireland champions Armagh in their last Division One game.

    In Division Two, Monaghan won promotion despite losing against Down, who have been relegated to Division Three.

    Cavan ended their league campaign with a defeat against Cork.

    In Division Three, Antrim lost to Kildare which confirmed their relegation to Division Four, whilst Fermanagh beat Laois but results elsewhere prevented them from securing promotion.

    Mayo and Kerry occupied fourth and fifth places going into today's final round of games in Division One but their respective victories over Donegal and Galway means they will contest next weekend's league decider.

    Kerry secured their final spot by beating Galway 3-24 to 2-19 in Salthill.

    That four-goal burst after half-time put an already in control Armagh side out of sight against the sorry Oak Leafers who lost Shane McGuigan to a red card just before half-time when his side trailed only 0-10 to 0-8.

    After an awful defence of their Division One title, the Oak Leafers now must try and regroup for their Ulster SFC opener with Donegal in two weeks.

    The All-Ireland champions, meanwhile, will next be in action in their Ulster quarter-final against Antrim six days later.

    Ruairi Canavan fires over a point but Tyrone fans are starting to leave as news of Mayo’s win over Donegal filters through.

    And the younger Canavan scores again but it’s too little too late.

    Tyrone are relegated but will take a lot of encouragement from this display.

    Mayo complete a 1-18 to 1-16 victory over Donegal and that means Tyrone are relegated despite their impending win over Dublin. Either Kerry or Galway are going to be Mayo's opposition in the League Final and it's going come down to a point of two either way in the score difference takes.

    Hugh McFadden went for goal and his fierce shot came back off the crossbar. Aaron Doherty did notch a point but a Ryan O'Donoghue point has put Mayo two up with seconds remaining. If Mayo avoiding conceding a goal now, it's curtains for Tyrone.

    Donegal were presented with a glorious chance to move back into the lead after referee Joe McQuillan awarded a penalty - which looked say questionable.

    However, Mayo keeper Colm Reape spread himself to make a comfortable save low to his net to stop Dara O Baoill's weak enough shot. O Baoill then careered into Reape which led to a delay in play as the Donegal man was booked.

    Ciaran Kilkenny with a two-pointer as Darragh Canavan is taken off with the game seemingly won.

    Attention now turns to the other games in Division One to see whether Tyrone will still be relegated despite this good performance.

    Wow, that Donegal lead didn't last long. Paul Towey quickly levelled before Matthew Ruane swung over a two-pointer. Mayo two up again. What an exciting finish we've got in Castlebar and hello to all the Tyrone folk that I dare say may be logging on at the minute.

    A point from substitute Michael Langan has put Donegal ahead with 10 minutes left in Castlebar. If Jim McGuinness' side remain ahead, Mayo will be relegated with Tyrone remaining in Division One - providing they beat Dublin, which looks certain at this stage.
